Used 1-800-Pack-Rat for my recent Local Storage Move. Technically, the move to my future home is not yet complete, as ALL of my 3 storage containers (16ft Bins) are currently safe and secured at our Local Van Nuys, CA Storage Facility. Throughout the coordination of the Drop off AND Pick-up, I got a chance to meet a few of the Van Nuys Team Members (Drivers). All of them were professional, very communicative, and extremely friendly/comforting as they probably have done thousands of these drop offs/pick-uos and understand that the clients are in high stress modes.
With that said, there was one Driver that was super cordial and walked me through the process. Very Customer Service oriented, friendly, professional and overall seems like a great employee for meeting the expectations of what a member of his team represents.
Not certain if he (Armen) would ever see this review but I just felt that it was appropriate for me to write this review based on this 100% care/concerns for his client… ME.

“I have used college men movers twice over the years. I had a great experience each time. They were very professional and took their time moving things so my furniture was not damaged. I left my belongings in their storage for some time without paying them (I didn't have the money to pay the storage amount, I understand that's on me.) My belongings were suctioned or sold I guess. It would have been great if someone would have called me to let me know...hey all of your property is about to be auctioned. But again I take responsibility for that since I didn't pay the bill. I lost alot of family photos, I think that is what bothered me most. Anyways, I gave them 5 stars because they did a good job with the move. I didn't want to take away from that. I lost my stuff because I didn't pay the money. I would think that it could be great if the owners could save photo albums though. It doesn't hold value for some else but the photos really meant a lot to me. That's my only piece of feedback.”

“I have only had good experiences here. I have had a storage unit here now for 3 years and the prices are better than anywhere else. And they have only increased the prices over the 3 years very minimally. The help I have received from the guys in the office has been great. They also rent various size Uhauls for very reasonable prices. My only complaint is their hours of operation but it's no secret, you know the hours before you rent the unit so you're aware from the beginning...”
“I've used them twice now. Both times they were on time, quick and gave us a good/fair price. The firs time the carefully maneuvered around our furniture to remove a sectional and the second time they removed a ton of junk we placed in our driveway and did a great job cleaning up. Also very courteous!”
“Although this location was handling a high volume of customers, the staff remained incredibly helpful, professional, and positive throughout. They even went above and beyond by cleaning the back of the 26’ truck, despite the fact that it wasn’t rented from their site, but from the Saticoy location. Their commitment to customer service really stood out and was greatly appreciated.”
