I have gotten my truck back and it looks like new. Save yourself some time and headaches driving around trying to find the right place. “A friend recommended Fix Auto in Oceanside, but I found this shop 4 minutes from my house.Interestingly, there is a Maaco auto shop down the street (Maaco guarantees the lowest price). However, after being greeted by Jose, explaining to him that I'd prefer to not use my insurance, and obtaining a quote pretty close to my price range, I felt comfortable my car would be in good hands. I checked reviews prior to going to any service & this shop's reviews are high.I was well informed during every step of the process. There was a very reasonable delay due to excessive amounts of rain, but I was advised and had no problem with the minimal wait. Since I live so close, Jose arranged transportation for me after drop off & when my car was ready for pick up. Any customer would appreciate those little extras!If I had one critique, it would be that since the paint on my hood, fender & door had to be blended to match, it would've meant the world to me had they painted the 2 speck sized chips on my door edge (visible from the outside).Overall, visually, my car looks great! I haven't had time to examine the repair or drive it far since I got it back, but from what I see, this shop does quality work. I will gladly recommend Fix Auto.”

“I originally left Penske a negative review, due to a perceived quality issue on a repair I had performed on my BMW, after it was rear ended. Essentially, the edges on the bumper cover sensor holes were jagged. In response to that review, Heidi called and emailed me directly. She explained what issues I may have inadvertently attributed to them, and acknowledged my genuine concerns about the workmanship. The issue was relatively minor, and could only be seen when close to the vehicle. She was adamant that I bring the vehicle back in, and they'd pay the cost of a rental. I turned the offer down, as the inconvenience of having to go through the ordeal is a hassle, but I appreciated the gesture. In my initial review, and in my own ignorance, I didn't include the work that must be performed behind the scenes, on behalf of myself, in sorting out a repair such as this with the insurance company. The fact that they were so forthcoming, fair, and willing to stand behind their work speaks volumes about the quality of this business. I would not recommend getting your car repaired anywhere else.”

“If you are looking for an honest, professional and friendly place to take your vehicle to get fixed this is the place. I had 2 unfortunate incidents where my vehicle was hit and damaged. They took such great care and communicated the entire time with updates on where they were with the repairs. The work is guaranteed but honestly you won’t be bringing back your vehicle because the work is done right the first time.”

“These guys do excellent work and have great service!! I had a minor accident and they had to repair the side panels on my car recently. The quality of work was great and they matched the paint exactly as it was before. I could not tell the difference between the original and the fixed area. They also had me come back to fix my front emblem that had faded from time at no charge. I highly recommend their shop and all their staff is super nice and helpful!”
“I am not one to normally give recommendations....I'm not related to anyone in this business. But I have been a 100% satisfied customer of theirs for over 25 years...and two sets of owners. Interestingly over all these years...the same painter. They do an awesome job and have painted and repaired at least a dozen cars for me. I would go nowhere else. The brothers running the business have combined experience and skills far beyond their years. The bodywork is perfection accomplished in a separate facility from the collsion section. Keeping everything immaculate for the prep work prior to the paint facility. These guys are perfectionists...they have painted and repaired a Lamborghini and a few other exotics for me as well as my large motorhome and lots of everyday vehicles that needed spot repairs.. no...they do not have a huge RV booth...they pulled basement access doors and matched the paint scheme...and graphics perfectly. I've been a car nut ... private collector since 1985.. and these are my go to guys. TRUST ME on this.....these kinds of skills are a product of personal pride...and it shows. Good work boys. “My son purchased a used Ford Focus from a local dealership; the morning after the purchase we found rust on bottom lip and edges of both front fenders. Unfortunately, the dealership refused to repair since we noticed it after the sale. After checking out Yelp reviews and taking the car to 2 other local shops for estimates, we stopped in at Car Coat for a third estimate. Cody carefully evaluated the area and explained that previous owner had rolled in the edges of the front fenders; this cracked the paint and caused rust to develop on the exposed edges of metal. Cody was courteous, understood our situation and gave us an affordable quote for a thorough repair of both front fenders. He and his crew were able to complete the work within 1 week. “As a new person in the Northern SD area, finding and trusting a body Tech. for my beloved 2008 C-300 was not easy. So I took a "leap of faith" with Steven and his staff. The rear left light was hit with some fender and bumper damage. The shop was clean and organized and Steven turned on the charm, which hardly worked on me. The repairs were completed, on time and with a general wash and buff. Here is the recommendation, my wife took me to pick up my C-300 and we left her car to do some overdue cosmetic cleanup.
