“I stopped there on the tail end of a long bike ride. There was such a nice vibe going on with some of the customers just hanging out and being friendly and jovial. The man behind the counter greeted me and asked me about my ride. Nice people and a great selection of drinks and snacks. I'm making this food mart a regular stop on my rides.”

“After reading all the wonderful reviews of Urban Cocina, I finally got there for a late lunch today with a friend and we weren't disappointed! I had a absolutely delicious shrimp taco, consisting of multiple huge shrimp atop a crisp taco, and my friend had the delicious pork belly tostada. The ambience was friendly and the chef made multiple visits to our table. This seems to be a family run affair, and I will definitely be back many times in the future.”

“I've eaten here twice and loved it both times! I recommend the curry chicken. So warm and tasty!! The owner Wendy, and her sister Felicia make you feel as if you are a guest in their "home" as you dine in their restaurant. In the latter part of February I'm planning a ladies-night-out-for dinner here, with my friends, in order to spread the joy and have them try the tasty food this restaurant serves.”

“I went here for the first time earlier today. I'm new to Vallejo and had been searching for a place with a great beer selection. I finally struck paydirt with Caps N Cork! Huge selection and Jesus was super helpful! I was looking for a nice stout and he showed me several great options. I'll definitely be coming back!”

“They had what I needed for a reasonable price too. The guy inside was nice, people in the area not so much lol. Ran across this by chance it's a hole in the wall definitely worth checking out for the simple corner store things, & it's quick. Only thing I didn't like is, you will totally bottom out your car pulling in and out if you're not paying attention, it's all bumpy concrete. Other than that I'd go back :)!”

“During my visit to Springstown Bottle Shop, I was welcomed by friendly and knowledgeable staff. They greeted me with a warm smile and were eager to help me find the perfect bottle of wine. The shop had an impressive selection, with a wide variety of wines from different regions and price ranges. The staff took the time to understand my preferences and offered valuable recommendations based on my taste preferences and the occasion I was shopping for. They provided detailed descriptions of the wines, sharing interesting facts and stories about the winemakers and vineyards.I was also pleasantly surprised by the shop's inviting ambiance. It had a cozy and well-organized layout, making it easy to navigate and explore!”

“Well stocked with liquor, drinks and snack foods. They have Chivas Regal, which is the main thing. Usually a couple of marginal types in the parking lot on the side after dark: I park out on the street and avoid them. (They're harmless though, all they want is a few bucks).”

“TJ's is clean, there are security camera's, and always two store clerks. There is ample parking and it is well lit. The service experience is excellent and they are friendly and like to get to know their regulars and anticipate your needs. They stock a variety of convenience store items and, they keep their shelves stocked. They have a nice selection of liquors and wine varieties as well as tobacco products. And their prices are very reasonable.”

“It may take one hot minute getting to realize this, but Paul and wife are genuinely lovely people. Sorry I don't know your first name ma'am, but Mr. and Mrs. Singh, thank you for being you. Much respect. (I adore that the missus can swear like the best of any group of sailors.)”

“I've heard that the Bevboxs in Vallejo have Clase Azul so I had to go check for myself instead of driving out of Vallejo to get it. This one in North Vallejo off Mini drive has a parking lot and there's usually a taco truck parked outside. It felt somewhat safe and it looks like it has the same customers. There is such a wide variety of alcohol with all of your basics to your top shelf and it looks like they're usually stocked up too. They have locally crafted beers in the fridge and out on the shelves. 2 bottles of Hennessy for $90 and Clase Azul for $145 which is the same price as getting it from Total Wines. They have lots of different Stella Rosa and Earl Stevens flavors too. Would definitely recommend this spot when you're trying to find something specific while you're in Vallejo.”

“After a disappointing visit to BevBox, I went here to see if they had Hendricks Midsummer Solstice small batch gin. They did not and I asked if the clerk could order it and he said yes. He wrote it on his order sheet and told me when to come back to pick it up and I confirmed the order with a photo of the bottle on my phone. Although everyone is not demonstrative with enthusiasm, his quiet and friendly demeanor made me feel that he cared about what I wanted as a customer. I'd be glad to go back there to buy or order. It's not as fancy as BevBox, but for me, friendlier. Now, if it comes in when he says and I leave happy, I'll give another review.”

“I shop here almost daily. It's really like the neighborhood corner store--that's not really around the corner--of this area. It's kinda just the thing to do. I always get pretty much the same items when I go, it's almost as if it's part of my routine. What really sold me on Parkway though, I must say, are simply the unique moments I've experienced with the owners that run the store. Like, the time when it had rained really really hard and I got soaked and Sam offered me a dry t-shirt and the very jacket off his back. He became almost like a surrogate grandfather to me at that moment, and that's just to name one incident. And, I know I'm not the only one who feels like they have been looked out for by one of the guys, especially Sam. I guess, when someone really gives back to the community in the way that he does, the community really wants to give back too, because they get it. Thanks for caring! Thanks, Sam!!!”

“Shop here for Lotto, liquor, snacks, ice,and tobacco. The freshness of other major food items could be questionable? But then it's a liquor store , so go to Safeway for all your regular food shopping.I've been shopping here for years and have never had a problem.”

“Today the 2 ladies in the Glen Cove Safeway were very friendly, courteous, and helpful. One went out of her way to help a customer place her large order into her car. And the presentation of the Deli is very inviting. We're trying 2 of the salads.”
