“This place is fire, everyone is welcoming and if you have any questions they are right on it. The owner is super helpful with shoes and clothes. They always have everything I need and if they don't they will always find a way to get it the next day. Appreciate this store and hope they have a good future ahead of them.”

“Obsessed with this store!! You can find such great deals and steals on used furniture and most are in excellent condition! We came looking specifically for a smaller dining table and most were very reasonably priced. Don't come here expecting things to be in mint condition because it's been pre loved so some things like dining tables typically take a beating but I think it adds charm to the tables and you can easily mask any bruises or scrapes with table runners and place mats. They have a two floor set up with many pieces of unique furniture from sailor themed to industrial to mid century to renaissance! I came out with a small accessory for my office and if I found a table that suited me I would have totally bought it, unfortunately the ones I wanted were already on hold as someone else beat me to it first. On the tags you'll see a sequence of dates and the pieces get cheaper the later the date is however there's no guarantee it will still be there. I'll definitely be scouring this place again for gems, and the lady who worked there (the owner maybe?) was super nice and they're even pet friendly!!!What a gem in dublin I'm glad a place like this exists for unique furniture pieces and you can feel good about giving things a second life!”

“I have found great items at this thrift shop! It’s literally a hidden gem, I found a Kate Spade blazer and skirt for like a total of $10, a cute nude sweater dress with gold button details for the fall etc. It’s not a huge chain thrift store and that’s truly what I love about it. It’s downtown with great finds, sort of private, and with great prices. :) :) :)”

“Always noticed this business every time my family and I would eat around the area and we never really gave it a chance and today we finally did! At first I thought it was just a toy store so today I was surprised with the amount of inventory they have. Huge selection of clothes, toys, children's accessories, etc. My partner and I got so pumped up that we ended up purchasing the Babytrend jogger stroller which was still in good shape (you can tell they're selective with the condition of the items they buy from people coming in to sell items) and also 10 pcs. of clothes for my newborn niece from their mix and match sale, for relatively low prices. Overall, I'm happy with our purchase! The bad reviews about the owner are a little discouraging, not going to lie, but we didn't meet him or see him today. I guess we'll find out on our next visit since we're definitely coming back. And we didn't get the names of the two nice ladies in the front and the cashier who helped answer the questions we had about our selected / purchased items but they gave us pleasant customer service.”

“I call this the "high end thrift shop". You can find some nice things but kind of overpriced most of the time. I grew up on second hand stores and very aware of pricing. Most people who shop at thrift stores are on a limited budget, like myself. Sadly cannot always afford some of the items due to overpricing. I realize it goes to a good cause but still disappointing since everything is donated after all.”

“It's a shame that the American Cancer Society Discovery Shop has since closed down after being here in Fremont for over 25 years. I've been to this store multiple times, and even at their previous location in Irvington before they moved to this location in the Gateway Plaza. They always had stuff here for sale at reasonable prices and the staff here were very welcoming and friendly. It's sad that they are now closed. Shame on upper management for not giving this store a heads up that they had planned to close it. The owner of the shop had stated that they were given no prior notice that the store would be closing, therefore, could not do anything to try to save the shop location or find a new location. This place will be missed. The staff and volunteers will also be missed for their hard work and dedication over the years running the shop.”
