“Jayna went above and beyond in helping me with an order. I was trying to get a sales price for something based on some online prices. I haven't encountered a sales associate at mall store or retail like her in some time! I overheard her helping an older man deciding shirt fit as well. She seems to want the best for everyone, had a positive attitude but not in a fake-friendly way. This store is out of the way for me and I had to go back twice but she made it easy for me transaction-wise and also honored an online price. She also tried to locate a sold-out item for me. I hope she is properly appreciated by her employer!”

“I have had nothing but EXTREMELY positive experiences at this Madewell. (Madewell, in general happensmy favorite brand of clothing, accessories, etc., I can't get enough) I am very happy to be a madewell insider (download their app or talk to a staff member if you want details on that)! The clothes are so stylish, minimal, can be dressed up or down, and don't even get me started on the JEANS. Madewell jeans are WORTH THE HYPE. I have become a jean obssessed hoarder haha and it is easy to do with their jeans because they have many sales throughout the year. I love that they are an extremely size inclusive brand, allowing people of all body types to wear different styles of jeans that in the past, were never available to many of us (I happen to be short and they carry short style) also have tall, and curvy jeans aswell. If they don't have your size or what you want in the store they will help order them for you. The staff aren't pushy at all with helping you size or look around even if you don't buy anything but they are always there to help happily! There have been so so so many amazing staff members here, too many to possibly name. I hope the manager sees this and knows that you have an incredible staff in this store, and this is the only madewell I ever shop at now (and look forward to going here everytime- my happy place).”

“While walking my schnauzer, enjoying a Foster's Freeze cone, I happened upon this Olde Torrance gem! The South Bay finally has a shop that provides affordable service for bespoken clothing! Walking into Erica's shop can be likened to entering an alternate universe. There is such a variety of color and fantastic music blaring in the background. The feeling is retro, energetic and somehow almost speaks to a sense of eternal youth. Erica is a truly masterful artist! I ordered several custom bathing suits (tankinis OMG), bought a custom dress made from lovely vintage fabric, and even had her tailor some of my old pantsuits! No matter what project I request, Erica can get it done! I just love going Erica's namesake store every time I'm in the Old Town area. There are always so many vibrant colors and new designs to feast my eyes upon every time I visit. Erica is a real joy with which to work. This place is amazing, please come see what I'm talking about!”

I especially want to thank Madelene, an outstanding empoyee, who went out of her way to assist me in finding what I was looking for. She is obviously a very hard-working employee, as I observed her walking back and forth several times through the entire women's department, hanging up clothes that people left in the dressing room or had put back in the wrong place, and straightening out diplays, picking up hangers, etc. to make the department look so much better. She seemed to have a lot of pride in her work. I was trying to find a different size in one blouse that I really liked, and I was so grateful when she finally found it behind some other blouses, completely hidden from view. “I made a random stop at their Manhattan Beach store (just to window shop, really) and ended up scoring some caps at the bargain price of $4. I bought everything they had. (To giveaway and all...) Caught a movie across the way and thought I'd stop here to see if they had any and they did. Bought even more. I was with my Mom and found a few things she liked. We got in line to pay, and as always, cashier asked if I was making the purchase with my Old Navy card. I told them I didn't have one. She mentioned a promo and that I'd benefit whether I get approved or not. Eh, we had time. Why not. And it wasn't long before the whole thing was over: I was approved for so-and-so amount, so I asked her to charge everything on the card. I didn't realize how much I benefitted with applying: our $130+ purchase ended up going down to $50-something and change with the discount. Super score! So glad of the stop. I will be making more stops in the future for sure!”
