“Jayna went above and beyond in helping me with an order. I was trying to get a sales price for something based on some online prices. I haven't encountered a sales associate at mall store or retail like her in some time! I overheard her helping an older man deciding shirt fit as well. She seems to want the best for everyone, had a positive attitude but not in a fake-friendly way. This store is out of the way for me and I had to go back twice but she made it easy for me transaction-wise and also honored an online price. She also tried to locate a sold-out item for me. I hope she is properly appreciated by her employer!”

“I'm fairly new to Dick's. I made some recent purchases using a gift card from Xmas. Ordered online and made some returns because what I received didn't meet my expectations. Several returns ensued, each time resulting in another gift card and another online order. All the returns were handled expeditiously with another gift card for the credit card. The shipping was fast and free because I reached the threshold of $49. I would have given 5-stars if the sizing described had been more accurate.”

“A shoutout to the helpful, kind employees at this Kohl's where I recently shopped in the store in the women's department. I especially want to thank Madelene, an outstanding empoyee, who went out of her way to assist me in finding what I was looking for. She is obviously a very hard-working employee, as I observed her walking back and forth several times through the entire women's department, hanging up clothes that people left in the dressing room or had put back in the wrong place, and straightening out diplays, picking up hangers, etc. to make the department look so much better. She seemed to have a lot of pride in her work. I was trying to find a different size in one blouse that I really liked, and I was so grateful when she finally found it behind some other blouses, completely hidden from view. “While walking my schnauzer, enjoying a Foster's Freeze cone, I happened upon this Olde Torrance gem! The South Bay finally has a shop that provides affordable service for bespoken clothing! Walking into Erica's shop can be likened to entering an alternate universe. There is such a variety of color and fantastic music blaring in the background. The feeling is retro, energetic and somehow almost speaks to a sense of eternal youth. Erica is a truly masterful artist! I ordered several custom bathing suits (tankinis OMG), bought a custom dress made from lovely vintage fabric, and even had her tailor some of my old pantsuits! No matter what project I request, Erica can get it done! I just love going Erica's namesake store every time I'm in the Old Town area. There are always so many vibrant colors and new designs to feast my eyes upon every time I visit. Erica is a real joy with which to work. This place is amazing, please come see what I'm talking about!”

“I made a random stop at their Manhattan Beach store (just to window shop, really) and ended up scoring some caps at the bargain price of $4. I bought everything they had. (To giveaway and all...) Caught a movie across the way and thought I'd stop here to see if they had any and they did. Bought even more. I was with my Mom and found a few things she liked. We got in line to pay, and as always, cashier asked if I was making the purchase with my Old Navy card. I told them I didn't have one. She mentioned a promo and that I'd benefit whether I get approved or not. Eh, we had time. Why not. And it wasn't long before the whole thing was over: I was approved for so-and-so amount, so I asked her to charge everything on the card. I didn't realize how much I benefitted with applying: our $130+ purchase ended up going down to $50-something and change with the discount. Super score! So glad of the stop. I will be making more stops in the future for sure!”
