Even though our dog has anxiety each time she goes in, she is met with open arms, patience, and they stay able to groom her each time. “Let me start by saying that I love supporting my local shops and small businesses. However, many times the prices in local stores are higher compared to some of the big online sites. This is NOT the case with Big Al's. Not only are their in-store prices competitive to or LESS than online retailers, but the level of customer service from Brandon and his crew is top notch. It is so refreshing to be unable to ask questions to someone working in a pet store and get unbiased and informed answers. This is such an underrated experience nowadays! One Sunday evening I realized that my puppy had run out of his new food and panicked because I knew I wouldn't be able to make it to Big Al's before they closed in 10 minutes. I took a chance and called the store to confirm the closing time, and Brandon answered. He so graciously agreed to stay open past their closing time to allow me to come in and buy my pups food! Another time, I mentioned a food I'd recently switched my pup to that we were using and really loved. Brandon was familiar with the product and agreed that it was a great one, but he didn't carry this brand of dog kibble in store. Within a month, they ordered the product - Farmina, and now carry it in their store! I'm so blown away by the customer service that I've received, the quality of products offered, and the outstanding prices. I will be a forever customer of BIG Al's!”

My dog went through radiation and it she was super picky with her food. One of the staff was able to suggest a few couple of options and it worked!!! Also, a very good variety of treats and toys. On occasions, they offered discounted teeth cleaning and pet adoptions.”

I guess when you go through life expecting everyone to hold your hand and solve your problems this is what happens. Life is a mirror, if you don't like what you see stop blaming it on others. “I like it. My primary reason to visit will be to get propane tanks refilled but there are things to see, to browse and to purchase inside and out. It's not going to replace a Big Orange or Blue store but it does have the essentials and some other things those larger competitors have limitations. Animal food/feed for example. This location is close, the staff friendly and the costs agreeable.”

“Great store and great employees. And they often have great deals. Just wish they catered to more than just dogs and cat. I often need crickets and meal worms for my daughter's lizard and I have to go elsewhere. As a result I sometimes pick up dog items at the stores that have the crickets. She was wonderful and it turns out I was thinking Banfield services for the price. It was my mistake for sure, but she dug deep to resolve it. Very nice staff all around”

“Stopped by for my dogs birthday this past weekend. Used the self service bath which is great and only $18 and they clean up the mess. Go early to avoid waits but each station has a 30 minute timer. After his bath we shopped around and the staff gave us recommendations on treats and chew toys. Everyone was very friendly.”

“My vet had recommended this place for finding some more of the specialized foods my little old man needs and I can see why. This place has such a large selection of specialty food for dogs, cats, and others I believe. I went in for some low fat tummy/pancreas friendly food for my dog and the salesperson immediately let me through the sections with all the different brands to choose from. It can get kinda pricey, but it's special food for my special guy and worth it. Such a relief to have this spot so close by!”

It's quiet, really nice, clean and 100% by far the best experience I have had in years! They reached out to me two weeks later but I already had a different company set up.Critter squad reached out to me and wanted me to give them a chance. I had them come to my daughters school for an event and the show was wonderful. “I used to go to the local pet store to buy my chicken feed, cat food, guinea pig food, etc. Now I go here because it is sooo much cheaper! I used to spend well over 100 dollars every WEEK feeding my animals, now I spend about 100$ a month! What a steal! I used to pay 20$ for a small bag of oxbow hay for my guinea pigs, they gave me a MASSIVE 4 foot sack of Timothy hay for 15$. I was seriously getting ripped off at the pet store. They don't have my favorite brand of dog food though, so I still have to go to the pet shop to buy that... still, it's a good place to go get a bang for your buck.”
