“A proper hardware with most of what you need to finish your project. Glad to see OSH back in the area even if the name is now technically Outdoor Supply Hardware instead of Orchard Supply Hardware.”
“Amazing customer service. The BMW Dealer lost some screws for attaching a rear backup camera to the back of my trunk, and Olander saved the day!
Special shoutout to Karl at the counter! He provided excellent customer service and went above and beyond in finding me the correct screws I needed :)
He even did me a solid and hooked me up with Metal screws (as opposed to the original plastic ones).”
“The folks at Sunnyvale Lumber are amazing! I came here after being recommended for my Eagle Project. They cut the wood down to size for me even though that is wasn't one of their standard sizes.”
“Took bid on Water heater replacement. The service rep was excellent with options and suggestions. Did not hire as I received several bids. $$$$ was the main, but I'm an HP member, shop here weekly .”
“I needed to pick up some fertilizer and other odds and ends for the old and new place transition. A hyper and friendly lady helped me out to pick some stuff. Really happy that I got the help I needed, this place is super big and packed mid day! haha. It's like the place to be for DIYer's like myself. Happy! Enso forever! Eventually, one finds what is needed, but the experience would be much better if it took half of the time it takes. Generally, using the app to find where the product is located helps a lot though.”
“I've had lots of bad experiences at Lowes lately, so I've gone more towards HD in recent years.
However, I needed to buy a patio table today and Lowe's had better options, so I purchased one. It took longer than I'd like because there was a strangely long backlog of people in the grill/patio furniture area, but I felt the need to leave a review because this gentleman named Philip is one of the best associates I've had the pleasure of interacting with in a store like this.
Extremely patient (with multiple customers bearing down on him), caring (the guy he called to get the table from the back took his time, and while Philip was working with another customer he was still worried about me and wanted to make sure I was being taken care of), and very obviously knows what he's doing (I at first asked another associate about the patio table and she literally pointed to Philip and was like "that guy", on top of me seeing him delegating tasks to multiple people, haha).
I feel like if Philip isn't running this whole store, he really should be.”

811 E Arques Ave, Sunnyvale“For a big chain store, the selection for a DIY homeowner is much better than its main rival Home Depot both in variety and quality. The inventory control is good, if an item's listed as available, it has been available as far as my experience goes. Can't say the same about the other chain. Service is acceptable for a big store, my expectations isn't high there.”
“Love having this place nearby. As others have said: clean, cheerful and helpful staff eager to assist, wide variety of product.
On the staff: It is as if they imported these people from somewhere else. Definitely doesn't feel bay area.
Especially like the fasteners area. Deeper selection and better organized than HD or Lowes.
They have a very well thought out inventory. Most anything that isn't huge or heavy, they'll have a very intelligent and surprisingly broad selection of items.”
