“I knew i wanted to donate my car and i am glad the charity I chose uses Riteway to handle everything. From the first call, to the tow truck service, the follow up call/emails, and the paperwork needed for tax deduction; these were all done very quickly.”

“Amazing organization with great staff. Getting setup with them could take a while, so don't delay. Purchasing your own trap will speed up service.Great working with this organization and I look forward to continued partnership with them. We in LA shouldn't take this service for granted.”

“TPF is the real deal. I have to say, though, do your homework. Study up at Calscapes.org. Only you know what your landscape looks like. You can bring a photo of what you are wanting to change. The local native plant nursery, which is privately owned, near Hahamongna, is not a good choice.”

“Under different leadership for this past year, this place has been steadily improving. We meet there as a club, not affiliated in any way with them. They have always been friendly. Their patio is really nice, and I understand they are working on improving the inside as well. Really reasonable drinks, good people.”

“By far one of the most compassionate rescue I have ever encountered. At my lowest point I needed the most help. My little girl got gravely ill and paralyzed. Most of the vets I visited weren't invested. When I contacted Robin she immediately started making calls and appointments to get my baby seen. She went over and above, helped with transport, helped with costs and checked in on us throughout the whole process even being there when my dog passed. I wish more people in rescue had this compassion. It's rare to meet people that actually care about your animal and I'm so grateful for the support and advice received. True rescue heros in every sense. Thank you from me and my baby girl in heaven.”

“I bring my kids at least twice a year for the Poverty Encounter tour. I don't necessarily travel to Haiti, Romania or Nepal, so this tour helps me show my kids that they have so many priviledges and how grateful they should be. I just love that at the Povery Encounter they can see how other kids live, and not just hear stories from mom when they complain and try to be picky about food. In general, this also encourages kids and adults to give their time to do volunteer work, give financially to the Children's Hunger Fund or other organizations that help kids who don't have access food or medical necessities.”

“Ring bell for Carlos if gift shop is shuttered but hours say open. Super delicious toffee. Pumpkin bread is their signature bakery hood and once seasonal only cranberry proved so popular it’s available year round. Be warned Carlos is an excellent salesman and you might leave feeling swindled but don’t worry everything you buy supports the nuns and boy does that peanut brittle sneak up on you proving Carlos correct. Eaten without it’s counterparts it is addictive bc it’s not sickly sweet like other brittle. Easy to polish off an entire bag. Carlos will also give a history of the monastery and tell lots of entertaining stories of visitors describing the goods as crack to which Carlos will reply that he has never tried crack so can’t rightfully compare. There are also more salacious Thorn Bird and Milkman esque gossip for the less easily offended. And nuns are human ones like when they go to See’s to check out the competition. Oh and you can also quiet reflect in chapel and gardens.”

“We've been meeting on Fridays here for years and rent on Saturdays for one off events. The staff is super helpful, and the spaces, like the main room with a stage, and the basketball court (also has a stage) have bee really flexible and useful large spaces. There is a dedicated parking lot in back and there's usually ample street parking.”

“From the moment I walked in the door I was blown away by this facility. Yevette ran that place like a Union Made watch. Russ and Tony are true leaders and when you play with puppies all day how can you not be awesome. The puppies are cared for to level I've never seen and they are all adorable. The icing on the cake, is knowing all this is done to help people at no cost to the patient. I proudly donate to GDA TLC on a weekly basis to maximize my contribution. If you feel you need to give money to someone to help others this is truly the place you should put your money!”

“My MIL has benefited greatly from their services. They are very good at communicating with me (caretaker for my MIL) and she qualified for many of their services that ended up being a godsend. The team here is excellent, they will help you navigate what you need for your senior. They are doing such important work with our senior community. No - you don't have to be Jewish to participate.”

“What's not to recommend? It's the Salvation Army. You know what it is. I got a pair of worn Levis over in the boy's section that are the best fitting most comfortable jeans I've had in my life. My teenage daughter and her friends love shopping here. They have fewer clothes since covid, but they also seem a little neater and more organized.”

“One of my absolute favorites! I’m a second hand, thrifting, vintage lover. This shop is conveniently located by the 405 and 101 and always has parking. Really great stuff, especially house goods and cool vintage clothes. I decorated my wedding with thrifted dishes, glassware, cake holder, etc. I got some great pieces here and a cute brown leather belt. I have also donated my gently used items here. I’m an animal lover so I really love that it’s for animals! ???”

“I have been a part of this program since 1980 when my oldest child joined. It teaches leadership, values and a host of new hobbies. The outdoor experience and adventure is among the greatest for kids, and their parents. Scouting is about friendship, fun, adventure, leadership, outdoor skills and life skills. This is a trustworthy and reliable program for every kid, no exceptions.”

“Without any doubt, the best narrative driven school of the world (at least of my world). In this place, you learn STORY, hence it transforms you. Also, if you ever get a DRIVING CONE with your name by a free parking spot, that’s THE SIGN you made it. AFI Alumni will get this post. The rest, just trust this post is pretty accurate.”

“Great store with helpful staff. The entrance really is the rear door so when Google Maps seems like it is telling you incorrectly to turn left into the alley to get there, it really is correct.”
