“This.is a response to Ms. Estrada’s review below. In response to your review, I am sorry you felt this way, but I respectfully disagree with your statement.
When you first walked into our office the car you ordered was not available, so I offered you a free upgrade from the economy car you ordered to an SUV. I gave you a full tank of gas with a contract that gave you unlimited miles.
You immediately walked back into the office, claiming that the gas tank wasn’t full and that there was a ticking noise when you started the ignition. All of our cars are serviced regularly but I always give customers the benefit of the doubt.
I came out with you right away, checked and showed you the gas tank, which was indeed filled to capacity. Then I started the ignition myself, and upon not hearing any “ticking” noise, even upon acceleration, I further opened the hood with you standing there with me, and checked within the engine for any abnormal noises. I couldn’t find any. Nonetheless, I offered you a different SUV, and at that point, you refused to take any car and advised me you wanted to cancel the reservation and contract.
I’m not sure I understand your issue with stated mileage, as your contract gives you unlimited miles.
We went back into the office, and I was able to cancel your rental agreement, which immediately initiated the return of your deposit. However, I did explain that since you made the reservation and prepaid for the car through the corporate website, the only way to get a refund for your reservation is to call the Reservation Center. I don’t have any way of issuing you a refund for a prepaid reservation at our branch office in Studio City.
As for the look of our office, this is the first time I’ve received an actual complaint. Yes, it’s a small office and could use some touching up, but we try to keep costs and overhead low to give you, the customer, better pricing.
Again I apologize for any inconvenience you may have encountered. At no time was I unfriendly to you, but I can't argue with your opinion. I did everything I could to help you out at the time. I have been doing this a very long time. I take a lot of pride in my work and I wish a lot of things were easier for customers in the car rental industry.”
“We needed a rental car for one day only to go sight seeing and transfer from Universal Hollywood to Disneyland in Anaheim. Picked up right after 8, the location was a quick Uber ride from the hotel, then we were able to go sight seeing during the day and drive to Anaheim where we dropped the car off at the Enterprise counter within Pixar Place. While a one day rental is more expensive, we saved money by not having to pay for a car all week and parking fees associated with that.
The kind man running the desk at Hollywood made the process smooth and easy!”
