“The previous review about the passport service is miss-leading. They DO allow passport service in the branch. We went to East Palo Alto office but was asked to return here today. It actually has less waiting time comparing with other usps office.”

“This is a smaller sized post office is on a street that has local restaurants, salons, and professional offices. It's cozy and there are angled parking spots available (no meters) that is prone to tickets if you try to do a u-turn on that street. With a smaller branch comes the warm familiarity when doing services there enough times (think Cheers where everyone knows your name and how your family is doing) and it's a nice change of pace in an otherwise bustling area. The post service clerks are all very friendly and you may even get the angry (but loving) Asian scolding if you choose the unnecessarily expensive box to mail your items. This happened to me once and I was highly amused and appreciative that she was able to save me money by helping me choose a different USPS mailer. (To me, the boxes and types all seem the same, yikes!)Environment wise, this post office is on the older side. It is clean though, and well maintained. When you enter the front door, there are rows of po boxes you can rent and on the left there are another set of doors if you need direct service (i.e. mailing, submit a form to a real person). P.S. This post office a pokestop! There are also a number of stops at the street corners on either direction.”

“No issues coming here. The guy up front was happy and enthusiastic spreading positive vibes. I forget his name but he made you feel welcomed. I understand the Asian lady looks tired and weary and probably can be rude at times but I had no issues with her. Passport services were quick and easy and they only process new passports via appointments only. If you’re renewing just mail in your application and have them send it off.”

“The staff at this branch of the USPS is always very kind and helpful. I go there all the time, and always leave feeling like I've been treated with kindness and respect. It seems common to hate government workers, but gosh, these folks just prove they're looking out for us.”

“I Love this USPS branch. Can't say enough good about them. They provide expedient kind and helpful service to Mom and Yours Truly- (that's "me" for you millennial whippersnappers who don't know any Before Turn of the Century English ;-)). Been going here for atonna years, they never fail to satisfy.”

“Came here to mail something across the country. The post office is tucked away in building 6 and you have to enter through a back entrance. Luckily I had asked another employee where to go and gave me a tip that it was in a building that looked like it wasn't open (haha). Once I was in the building, the signs were super helpful. The post office itself was small but it had everything you needed. The woman working there, Thu, was super helpful and even helped me figure out what box to use in order to save the most money. She even helped me with packaging too. Overall great service and I'm glad I am close to here for any mailing needs. Avoids the usual long lines for sure. FYI: there are no self kiosks so you will need to wait. However, it doesn't seem like a very busy office to begin with.”

“I was experiencing difficulties with a delivery that required a signature and the regular customer support wasn't able to help with a solution. I got the number for the location and they were able to very quickly come up with a solution and get me the package before the holidays. I'm so happy.”

“It’s okay. I like the ones that have the self service station as it’s much easier and this one does not have one. Still able to do what you need but be prepared to wait and stand in line for a good period of time.”

“Fast service, courteous staff, clean store containing a self service kiosk proving a convenient alternative to the full service counter. I was in and out within two minutes, even though I was third in line.”

“Been here a few times and have never had any issues using their services. The staff have always been helpful and respectful, even though sometimes they seem like they don't want to people. I totally understand because I don't like peopling a lot. They have always provided me with solidly reliable mailing services. The architecture looks like it's the original building for whatever it used to be. Parking can be difficult because they are downtown with limited street parking. They do have the 30-minute limited parking in the front, which I've lucked out on being available a couple times.”

“Small branch on Jefferson St. Surrounded by small stores and restaurants. Fast service on a weekday if you come at a dead hour around 2:45-3ish. They close late for lunch and re-open at 2 pm. Staff are very helpful.”

“I've been using this USPS many times, but I've never had negative experiences. They've always done their best as much as possible and gently and professionally provide their services.Sometimes, I don't know the best price for shipping my package or their services, but they were always willing to explain them. I love this USPS place so far.”

“Standard post office, helpful staff, no complaints besides the slightly restrictive hours. One important note: as this post office is on restricted property (the NASA Ames base) you will need to show your driver’s license to the guard at the front gate. Tell the guard you are going to the post office and he or she will let you go through the gate.”

“Can't believe it!!! There was actually a nice person who was willing to help!We had our mail on hold for a month and it was not delivered after our return as requested. We went to the post office on Hope street who could not help. They gave us a number going nowhere. Finally we found this address, showed up on a Saturday at noon and actually a very nice gentleman went to check if our mail was on the back and it was!!!It should not have been that complicated but to be able to deal with a human being was extremely helpful.”

“This office used to have some rude employees and it was a huge pain to use its services but my recent visit surprised me. All 3 front desk --- on lady and 2 gentlemen are all extraordinarily professional. They all said to customers "What can I help you with?" "Thank you for coming!" .... etc. It's 180 degrees different from my past experience and this post office apparently is well managed and employees are well trained. They probably got rid of bad people.Whoever made the change, deserves top reward.”

“I had trouble receiving my mail for months. This location is the only post office (I went to four) that was able to really help me out and take care of the issue. The manager was extremely kind, patient, and knowledgeable and so was the person who helped me complete another form. Really appreciated their help this morning!”

“Jack knew my name the first time I walked in the door. He explained that he knew my name from my mail and knew it was me because he hadn't seen me yet. They are on it here!”
