“I had wonderful experience shopping here for a Marine Corps Ball gown! Hollie was so helpful in bringing me options for gowns to try on, and she helped me to find the perfect gown so quickly! They have a wide range of gowns and styles, with prices ranging from $90 to $600+ (the lower end is for what looks to be used gowns, and all the pricier gowns are by name brands like Sherri Hill). I appreciate that they have a military discount for ball gowns! I found the perfect gown that was in my budget for a decent price, while still looking beautiful and sophisticated.”

“I have passed by this shop many times over the years but was a bit too intimidated to go in. I'm terrible with fashion and never know what to buy or what would look flattering on me. But today I decided to give it a go. They have a nice selection of cards, jewelry, clothing and other fun items. I found a cute grey sweater that I wanted to try on and Ashley offered to get a room started for me. When I was ready to try my item on she told me she put together an outfit for me. No shop has ever done this for me before. I tried the outfit on which was very different than what I ever wear and was blown away. I absolutely loved it. I ended up buying the outfit without hesitation. So, if you’re wondering if you should go in and try something on? I encourage it and I’m looking forward to going back.”

Torrid is one of my consistently trustworthy places to buy plus size clothes, including items that have lasted for years. They also make some of the best plus size dresses with flattering shapes and fabrics that feel substantial and comfortable. Would suggest for both professional and personal outfits (and they have lots of fun stuff for Halloween too)”
