“My friend and I weren't able to make it to Brooklyn Charm in Ventura to make DIY charm bracelets so we came here instead to make stone bracelets which turned out to be such a LOVELY EXPERIENCE!! The workers were so sweet and welcoming, they gave us muffins and made us feel so comfortable at the bracelet bar. Vibes were just immaculate. They have a wide selection of stones along with a couple of charms, beads, and metal spacers. Bracelets were $55 each and they can be adjusted based on your wrist size. I recommend coming here with a friend or a small group since the shop is pretty small and there were only two seats at the bar!”

“My friends and I were walking around after having dinner at Fishwives when we came across Homage. I'm happy we decided to stop by. This is such a magical little shop to walk around and see all the neat things that they offer. They have a selection of bags, jewelry, cards, candles, books, pins and stickers, and all sorts of other lovely items. They have such impeccable taste and I have to stop myself from buying everything. The staff is so kind and helpful. My friend was interested in a necklace and the staff showed her that it could be tied off for a different look. She was also very patient while my friend looked through all the gems because they had such a gorgeous assortment of colors that it was hard to choose. The reason I'm giving 5 stars is because of their service. Unfortunately, they ran out of the sticker I wanted. The staff took down my number and called as soon as they had it back in stock. They only order 12-18 of each sticker so if you like it, just get it! I also asked for a little paper bag to hold my purchases and they delivered with a cute tiny bag that's perfect for gifting.”

“For years this shop was originally on second street. It was fully supplied with items for the kitchen, dining, and other Japanese items. This shop is much smaller, no room to roam around like the other shop, where you could ogle and awe at wares. The owner of this shop is helpful. They have an adequate selection of ikebana vessels from Japan unlike anywhere else in LA. The prices are average considering import costs. Overall this shop is an important mainstay in the Japanese community.”

“One helpful thing about the store use that it was arranged by topic. If the Japanese garden was your main interest, one section was devoted to it. It made finding books on herbs vs art history very easy to find. It was also very well-stocked. The herbal book we purchased, as well as the art book, we're of high quality. “Such a unique store with unique, fun and interesting merchandise. I'm so happy this mom and pop store has been able to thrive over the years as it truly is a favorite to visit in my town and it's terribly hard to be in business these days. They do such a good job with their Instagram page and promoting their awesome themed art shows and various art events. I love their annual pet show as always come home with portraits of my dog from the artists that attend. I love that you can order online. They helped out a lot during the pandemic. They are always so helpful when you go in too. This last weekend I went in to find some Valentine's Day gifts for family members and sure enough left with some fun goodies.
