251 N City Dr Suite 128, San Marcos“I'm so grateful to be a part of the San Marcos Chamber of Commerce. It's a great place to meet fellow business owners and get updated on what's happening in San Marcos to help business grow and thrive. I feel supported by a tight knit community and have a resource at my fingertips for help when I need it.”
“The bi-weekly farm stand offers a bounty of freshly harvested produce. Typical greens include kale, chard, mustards, dandelion, amaranth, spring, gem, romaine. Other standards are radishes, eggplant, onion, tomatoes, beets, carrots, zucchini, squash. Various seasonal herbs are available. Supply depends upon the harvest. A very positive presence in the neighborhood!”
“Truly wonderful! The representative called and talked me through the process. She didn't pressure me to make a decision or work with them. Very knowledgeable!”
“This place was very cool lots of very interesting instruments from the late 1800 till now. Staff is very friendly and helpful. You can even play some of the instruments.”
“G'mach aka "The Jewish Gift Closet" is such a wonderful place.. The volunteers are so helpful in helping you with what you need and both Myrice and Helene are such beautiful persons! they care about you as if they've known you your their whole life and make sure you are felt welcomed and never turn you away for anything.. I've been able to find clothing for my growing daughter and the best part is I can always bring back what didn't fit and it's been a great place to also bring my donation items.. they take anything from Men/Women clothing, shoes, accessories Baby/Kids clothes, toys, crib, maternity Books, new toiletries, houseware and more!! It's great to have a place like this to help the Jewish community”

14698 Via Fiesta, San Diego“MashAllah really clean prayer space and spacious parking area. Carpets were SUPER soft. Can be a bit hard to find, I believe there’s another way to enter via a private road so be weary of that. Also only certain doors to the musala are unlocked throughout the day for anybody praying while traveling.”
8:30AM - 5PM
650 2nd St, Encinitas“They serve matzo flat meal sometimes. Or they used to. Packaged. It's a food bank. To get food free of charge. Businesses donate sometimes here. Read the sign up front. When you arrive. It's kosher? Right?”
“I started attending some of the Garden Club events this past couple of years and they are exceptionally well- organized, educational, a good variety of activities, and fun! The club facilitator really does a great job at switching things up. I especially love the annual holiday events. Garden Club grounds are lovely. I always go without expectations; I know that I'll learn something, I'll meet new people, and I go with an open-mindset and fun attitude! Great way to spend the day!”
“I am so grateful for FACE Foundation. My Cane Corso pup had surgery on her eye that stemmed from a hereditary condition. Without treatment could have resulted in the loss of her eye. The FACE foundation was quick to respond to our application and made the whole process easier for us to get the care my girl needed. Miss Fiona and I thank you so much for the wonderful support and assistance you have provided us. ❤️”
“Great resource to get started on composting. I got worms and compost here. We got in-depth lesson on the best way to compost for our space and needs. This is the perfect pandemic activity. Bring the kids, teach them how to compost, bring your electronic to recycle while you're here.”
10AM - 3PM
818 S Coast Hwy 101, Encinitas“I'm stupid obsessed with diagonal crosswalks. This one traffic feature makes Encinitas Mainstreet one of my favorite North County destinations. The whole area is more pedestrian friendly with these crosswalks included in the design. There are a variety of breweries, restaurants, and things to do. I'm a huge fan of Candles on Tap- where you can create your own custom scented candle. Modern Times Taproom is a fave when I'm wanting a beer and I love the gelato shop. Parking can be a little tricky, but that's how it goes when you're steps away from the city's best dining/retail AND the beach. Go for sunset, stay for drinks & dinner. It's a great place to be!”
8AM - 9PM
1601 San Elijo Rd Ste #A, San Marcos“Great club. My son wanted to find a club where he could learn from skilled coaches to improve his own abilities, and compete with other teammates who also wanted to excel, while having fun. He loves it. In addition to coaching the kids in the game, they also teach and expect good sportsmanship (which not all clubs emphasize). Very positive environment that brings out the best in my son. In addition, they offer camps during school breaks for continued competitive skill building. The other parents are all terrific too; it's fun to go watch the kids' games together.”
“Welcoming church family with commitment to serve locally! The Pastor teaches from the Bible and his applications for Christian life in these times are astoundingly relevant and enlightening. Wonderful Chuch!”
“They have the easiest donation site I've ever seen. All you have to do is park, drop off the stuff near or in the bins, and leave. It's usually never crowded and you can even ask for a receipt.”

“My daughter absolutely loves this program! It has helped her so much; not only with physical strength, but also her concentration and confidence. Michelle is outstanding! We are going to miss all of you so much when we move out of state next month. I highly recommend this class ! My daughter is a Special Education student with focus on behavioral issues, but at the YMCA, you would never know that she has any challenges by watching her with her class. Thank you for treating all kids equally by focusing their energy on something positive and teaching them that with hard work and commitment, any obstacle can be overcome.”
“I was sold a lab diamond and when I was getting it appraised for insurance purposes, I was told that it was a lab diamond but that it would be best to send to the lab to get a report. I created an account online, sent it via USPS, insured it and in about 2 weeks I had the diamond back and a report. GIA confirmed it was a CVD lab diamond.”
“This organization has helped me in my recovery to transition from a walker to a recumbent and now an upright. I am Veteran with numerous disabilities and Nico has been exceptionally supportive in my recovery. It’s been a long ongoing recovery, but organizations like these make it a little easier to get out and have a little better quality of life. Thank you brother and Semper Fidelis”

685 S Rancho Santa Fe Rd, San Marcos“This is one of those Goodwill stores that's mostly a bookstore. They do sell some other items like clothes, accessories, and knick knacks, but just a few select items and priced higher. Book selection is decent and well organized.”
“Recently attended one of their networking events and had a great time. I was invited by another member and was definitely encouraged to join. Everyone was very friendly, and the event was very well done. I have my call to learn about joining next week!:)”
