“Really hard to say anything bad about the place. I go in for lunch and grab a cheese or two about once a week since moving to the neighborhood. Can be a little crazy on weekends, but if you make it in during a weekday the staff have great suggestions.
Great bread and meats as well.”

They seem to focus on wine and spirits, hence their name , but I found some great craft beer options too.
They also appear to host tasting events, where folks can come up and sit around a bar to enjoy some liquid delights. I haven’t attended one, but I did see people hanging out there when I came by to pick up some brews.”

“We have lived here since 1970. It's Oscar night so I commented that I needed to get back to the Oscars. He said that they were a joke . Always have had great people running Ambrose. Tonight I went in and commented that my ex husband loved soccer which was on the tv. The rude guy behind the counter said he must have liked really cheap wine. " like 3.99 a bottle huh ?!" obviously he was not a fan of Argentine people!!! I said he was being rude , and he suggested that I complain to Ryan ( I don't know if Ryan is the owner or mgr. ) WTF ! Now I will check to see if this jerk is working before I walk in the door.”
“This Roe-Zee Market is excellent with high quality fresh foods snacks drinks & liquors with expensive price. The employee working at the deli was nice and friendly kindness I’d say. Supporting the business. Very enjoyable, convenient large screen flat tv in Spanish audio very loud. Great experience. Best location so far.”

“My shopping experience at ST MARKET was excellent. The store was immaculately clean, and the shelves were well-stocked with a wide variety of products. I was particularly impressed by the freshness of the produce and the quality of the meat. The checkout staff were also friendly and efficient, ensuring a speedy exit even during peak hours.

“I live 4 miles away and I will drive here instead of the place right next to me. First off the atmosphere is off the hook. I've never seen a cooler liquor store. The staff are amazingly nice. Almost too nice?? their alcohol selection is off the hook, candy section off the hook, specialty sodas is amazing and my son's reason for going here. They also have a cool chill spot to play keno. Overall there is no better liquor store in Sunland than this place. Come in and see for yourself. Kids will love the tons of Lego sets on display.”

“Nice place to visit at City Market 21 at Tujunga CA Foothill Blvd @ Plainview Ave. Busy area with loud noises driving around the intersection. On the other side of street is Original Tommy’s Burgers which I haven’t try yet but farther than that there is Super Char Burgers which I came across ordered a burger & fries with high prices. Inside the liquor store with great prices of snacks, beverages, liquors & much more!! Great selection for me to purchase & play lotto scratcher tickets. The owner at the counter who is kindfulness, friendly, smart & super duper nice to me. Not rude, very good attitude of which I could tell very polite. Having no issues. Keep up the great work definitely come back again. Nice & clean, well organized. Of course I like the hot weather. Anyway I highly recommended visiting to City Market 21 Liquor store & the customers must try fast food burger & fries at Tommy’s & Super Char Burgers if you come across. This was my best day I had ever experienced.”

“We stopped here during the holidays to get some liquor for a family Christmas party and New Years Eve. My first time at Glendale liquor. My girl has come here a million times since she used to live out here. I love the Armenian wine selections and the Russian Vodkas to choose from, I do not drink Vodka as much as i used too. BUt i love this place, and i will be back.”

“I was on a mission to find mezcal and picked this store based on another review saying they had “unique” liquor. I was not disappointed! The two clerks working were so nice, knowledgeable, and helpful- and they had a surprisingly good selection of mezcal and tequila! Will definitely go back.”
“Nice deli sandwiches hot and cold. Cheese steak and large cut steak fries usually what i order. Combo comes with a drink all for less then $20 including tip. Don't forget to tip they make it right in front of you so you can see how they make it from scratch. Not frozen and microwaved like some other places.”

“I have been a loyal customer since 1993. It is an old Bekins storage facility of seven floors. Access to the wine vault is through an old elevator, manually controlled, with a sliding metal gate. Storage lockers are of multiple sizes, including walk in.
The personal touch of Nancy, Laura and Paul is nothing short of perfect.
There have never been issues with security or climate control. And all for a reasonable price!”
“This was such a fun experience! I'm not much of drinker, but my friends and I wanted to each have one drink before top golf. I drove to Burbank the day before, and picked out a bag for each of us. We got two Mexican Candy (so good!!) and a Triple Melon (pretty good as well). They have so many different types of combinations, and you get a cup of ice per bag. I don't recommend putting the candy into the drinks, they tend to get soggy and slimy. Just enjoy the drink and the candy separately.”

“I've attended 2 music events at the modern speakeasy downstairs:1) A Jazz Band2) Beats & Beer Pop-up with Beatnuts DJ & Emcee Psycho Les, Beatjunkies DJ Carlos 'C-Los' Menendez, KCRW DJ Anthony Valadez, and DJ Blackmuseumist. They spun ALL-VINYL with some funky dope blends. If you don't know about them, you need to find out...get some new friends lol and this is the place where you can connect with people over music. Oh, folks were dancing their tails off. It was hard to sit down. I didn't want to go home...Both times were a major vibe.The space creates an intimate ambiance with a slight minimalist feel because of the decor--keeping it simple with aesthetics and functionality. There is a music room and a conversation room close to a bar that serves a plethora of unique craft beers and wine only. Beer server (or Beer Meister lol) knows how to help you select the right brew for your appetite. He was extremely helpful and patient with me. I appreciate him.Prices were reasonable--probably the lowest prices I've seen in LA.I had a brief conversation with the owner, Marcus. He is talented, brilliant, and funny. He is a sommelier who meticulously curates his wine selections. I will definitely start buying my client gifts from his wine shop.Parking was easy. I choose to park across the street in the lots. There are tasty food vendors in the shopping plaza if you need to order something.”

“Fancy Free! There simple dialed in menu at the bar makes selections easy and clean. Love the aesthetics of the place, it definitely carried in to our mixed drinks. We went with the Pink Flamingo paired with El Tequileno. Great service, great drinks. It's a once stop shop for quality drinks. The block ice and the garnish were the final touches on the drink. It's a bit pricy, but you get what you pay for. I think the end user experience is worth it. I'm no mixologist but I felt like one when making it. I would definitely come back again to try another combo package. They also have a nice selection of craft drinks in the refrigerator.”

“This is a quaint neighborhood Lotto and Liquor Store. The staff is gracious and their stock has proven to be reliable when Costco is closed and I need one paper towel roll to get me through the night. All the locals purchase their Lotto tickets here. My children have loved picking their favorite ice cream bar from their self-serve ice cream freezers. While I had the Good Humor truck, my kids had Ringside for those hot summer days.”
