“Oaks liquor is the best. Super friendly staff. So many times I catch myself going somewhere needing a last minute gift, and always come in here and get a nice bottle of liquor so I don't walk in to a party empty handed. They have anything and everything you may need! AND! They have bottle gift bags! :) super easy parking also! Go check them out!”

“Hello, my name is Oh Hyeong-Seok. My deceased father's name was Oh Ki-Pyeong. I don't know who will read this message. Is Mr. Myeong Chang-sik still alive? My dad passed away in 2009 at the age of 86 and my mom last year at 96. The last time I saw Mr. Myeong Chang-sik was early 2000 accompanied by Mr. Choi Gong-hee when they visited my dad in Korea. I still have the letter Mr. Myeong Chang-sik sent to my dad.Good luck to all his family members!”

“Wow...this place is a doozy. First off the parking lot is an adventure, just walking to the front door, you're running a panhandlers gauntlet. I think that they filmed the sequel to "Blade Runner" in Sun Valley. God knows they wouldn't need to build a set. Just show up and film. And they'd have an ample supply of extras. A lot of car wrecking yards. And there just isn't wrecked cars around here either. There's some very wrecked people wandering about. Mentally ill or drugs, I dunno, just adds to the vibe. One guy mumbled about "his wife was kidnapped"... When Eric Burdon and The Animals wrote "We Gotta Get Outta This Place", I think they had Sun Valley in mind? I dunno, you visit and tell me. So onto the review. The prices here are what you would expect. I didn't buy any beer as I was "working" the day of my visit. The people behind the double glazed bullet proof glass were curt but friendly enough. Why is that there is always that hoodrat snowflake with a sob story trying to buy beer with a debit card that has no cash in it holding up a line? I understand the owners being abrasive. Anyhow, they have a bunch of Raiders and Dodgers hats for those who want to "represent" their team. Or show their affiliation to their "neighborhood pride association" and I don't mean the homeowners association either. Oh and the stripped cars you see around here? Well where do you think your local body shop gets the replacement parts from? So on vibe alone, this place is a 5 star in my liquor store hall of fame. Til next time.”
