“It was a pleasure working with John McGreggor at the Windsor location. He was very patient with my questions and did a thorough job answering my questions. I now have the knowledge of what is important in a mattress for being a side sleeper. He did a great job explaining the importance of support on all my pressure points and helped me make my decision to go ahead with a latex option with a topper. It’s only been a day and I’ve already told a couple friends about what I found, and the dude that helped me out. He wasn’t only educated and patient, but was very kind. I realized I kept him a quarter past their closing time and I had no idea until I left the store and saw the time. It didn’t feel like I was in there that long. Sleep city is a great place. It’s also locally owned. I won’t need a mattress for 20 years now but my kids will and John’s the man. “I was shopping for a "mattress upgrade" for my 16-year-old son, who has been sleeping on a too-short twin bed for years, and I always prefer to shop locally at small businesses if possible. Fortunately, Lori's Half-Price Mattress came up in a web search, and I called the number right away. Lori met us at her conveniently located showroom in downtown Sebastopol, where she also maintains a small warehouse so that she can provide in-stock items for same-day delivery when possible. She was helpful and attentive, and she had a lot of helpful advice for finding my son the best mattress for his needs. She also has a policy of recommending affordable mattresses before moving on to higher-priced items, so she is clearly very honest and interested in helping her customers. I have already recommended Lori to friends in the area.”
