“My husband and I have unfortunately moved many times. For our most recent move in September 2023, we hired a team of Shannon movers to help us relocate from LA to Mill Valley after interviewing several other movers.
From our first call with Fiachra to the actual move, we were really impressed with Shannon moving. He outlined all of the logistics, including how many movers to expect, estimated time to move, and estimated cost.
Since we were also storing some items, he gave us an estimate on how many vaults we would need for the items we needed to store.
The movers were amazing: They treated our belongings with care, wrapped our delicate / fragile items to protect them, and were highly efficient and professional. We didn’t have to do any heavy lifting. The complimentary wardrobe boxes were very helpful.
The final bill didn’t have any hidden charges and fell in the quoted range.
Now that we’re moving again, we have no reservations about using them to help us move from mill valley to larkspur.”

“Great experience with North Star Moving today. The team was very communicative, giving us a ~45 minute heads up before arrival. The team arrived right around the beginning of the pick up window, which was super helpful.
Isael, Cris and Eualio provided exceptional service. The team was professional in communication, understood instructions clearly (no repetition needed), and handled all our items with care. They were also extremely fast (despite having to deal with stairs), was able to disassemble and reassemble large and heavy furniture, and helped arrange large items at the delivery address.
Overall, I was incredibly satisfied with Notth Star Moving and specifically Isael, Cris and Eualio. 10/10 would highly recommend to anyone dealing with the stress of moving.”

“I’ve just gone through the first part of the moving process, packing and picking up my belongings and furniture. The process was very smooth, from the time I requested a quote and until the moving crew arrived. I received guidance from Drew and Amy, they responded to my questions and guided me on things I didn’t know about this process. I received an email the day before my move date to confirm the date and to let me know the time when the crew would be arriving. They took care of the parking permit with the city, which was a relief. They posted the parking permit 3 days before the move date. When the moving crew arrived, everything was smooth and straightforward. Enrique, Adam, and Eddy really know what they are doing. They handled all my belongings and furniture with care and made sure everything was properly labeled and arranged to unpack easily. Everything has been transparent and straightforward until now. I’ll see how things go at delivery in the new location but for now everyone I’ve been in contact with has provided the best customer service.”

“Moving in general is stressful as it is, but arriving at the SOMA self storage was such a big relief. The staff was friendly, helpful, and supportive. They helped us unload the 20 foot U-Haul we drove from San Diego. The facility is clean, secure, and the unit we were presented with was a bigger space than anticipated. Being new in town, they even gave us honest suggestions on neighborhoods to look for when searching for places to live. The staff is helpful, down to earth, and very knowledgeable about the city. We are glad to be using SOMA self storage during this transition in our lives.”

“The cheer that Esther extends to the customers at Public Storage --Marin Street in San Francisco is extra-ordinary. In my Christmas time 2023 experience, Esther showed patience, holiday cheer, and great passion for the Public Storage product.This Public Storage (PS) utilizes the PS app, and there's a learning process involved with using the PS app to open the gate and the building. Esther guided me through this process with extreme poise and understanding as I fumbled around with my iPhone. My move-in date occurred a few days before Christmas--December 23rd to be exact--and Esther sported a Christmas stocking cap and showed such cheer that I started to hum the Christmas tune "Deck The Halls" and the line "Fa-la-la-la--la-la" as I moved my belongings into the storage facility unit.During the three hours that I moved in two days before Christmas, Esther and I crossed paths several times. Esther took a moment to explain how Public Storage prides itself in having carts to assist its patrons. In this case, I went to the hallway by the office to claim a cart to scoot to another building and then returned to the original spot. Esther explained that each building should have carts, and it's her job to make sure there's a supply for Public Storage customers.I endorse Public Storage Marin Street in San Francisco for taking care of your storage needs whether for its monthly special or to meet your long-term needs! I was desperately driving around my U-Haul full of things trying to find a unit for, and, they not only saved me even when they were about to close for the evening, they gave me a discounted promotion rate for the unit I rented as well! Also love the way you use an app to get in and out of the facility/building.
