Pet Food Express
12900 Saratoga Sunnyvale Rd, SaratogaThis location is smaller than the Campbell location, but has the same great customer service and friendly, very helpful staff found at every P.F.E. I've been to. Additionally, we've been taking our dogs to use the self serve dog bath stations here for years. The staff here have always been very helpful whenever we needed assistance with the baths, towels, and when we needed to find certain treats or other dog products.Pet Food Express routinely has the best quality food products for our picky, very well cared for German Shepherd (and previously our collie as well). We always come here for the Rawbble.

1358 Saratoga Ave, SaratogaStacy did an amazing job with our cat who despises getting her nails trimmed and it was quick and easy. Stacy was able to squeeze me in the following day after requesting an appointment. We will be coming back ongoing. Thank you, Stacy, for taking good care of our cat.

Pet Care
Reed Animal Hospital Saratoga
12840 Saratoga Sunnyvale Rd # 600, SaratogaDr. Dave and his team have treated and loved all our dogs (plus us the owners!) with great compassion and kindness. Even when a new 4 legged family member is snappy about having his temperature taken with a thermometer up the rear or when it’s time for us to say the gut-wrenching goodbye, free them from pain, and let our pups cross the rainbow bridge knowing they heard us say, “We love you. Good dog.” Every family should have a Dr. Dave.

The Hero Ranch Kitchen
14583 Big Basin Wy, SaratogaCame here for my dad's birthday and enjoyed how nice and upscale the experience was!
Good:
- The service was so good! It's so pretty and nice inside, dimly lit
- I enjoyed my pork chop a lot - the apricot sauce added a lot to the experience and there's so much food
- The crab cake was a tasty dessert
- They had a nice birthday dessert for my dad and the bread pudding was so tasty too!
Bad:
- Overall it's pretty expensive so come only for special occasions
- Food arrived slowly
Overall would have to find another special occasion to come again!

Flowers Saratoga
14577 Big Basin Way, SaratogaDecided to do try something new for us. We didn't have a reservation but we're able to sit at the bar. The bartender was attentive and helpful. We enjoyed the drinks immensely and the food was good. A nice more exclusive and fancy experience. The bartender is beautifully lit up and the ambiance at night was intimate. There is a nice parking lot on 4th street not far from the restaurant. The Hero Ranch Kitchen next door is owned by the same folks and it was good too when we went there the next night.

Big Basin Vineyards - Tasting Room & Wine Bar
525 Pacific Avenue, Santa CruzEverything about this place has us planning our next visit. Decor inside, gas fireplaces outside and amazing wines and food. You do not want to miss Juan’s empanadas. We had the Syrah and the Viognier which were both excellent. Sean is also such an asset to the entire vibe. His hospitality is enough to return weekly. Thanks for the amazing date night setting.
Vegetarian options: Empanadas, salad, bruschetta
Parking: Parking along Pacific Avenue in metered spots
Kid-friendliness: More of a date night or adult gathering spot
Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible inside and out.

Mandala Indian Cuisine
14510 Big Basin Wy Suite 3, SaratogaSuper delightful lunch with family here before I came back to London in July.
Service is 5/5—they provided papadum on the house for us. Delicious ? Thank you so much for changing dishes a few times for us, even though we didn’t really use the appetizer plates. Parents loved the experience though:)
Food: The lamb tikka masala is my favorite ? as always. The tandoori chicken is good too. The lamb biryani is a rice dish my parents enjoyed as well.
Highly recommend the masala tea ?
Very quiet inside today, maybe because of the European cup final is happening right now.
Highly recommend if you live around this area

Roudon-Smith Winery
14572A Big Basin Wy, SaratogaCame in here because we had an hour to kill before a concert at the Mountain Winery. This place exceeded our expectations by far -- for wines priced very modestly, this place over-delivers. Al is very knowledgable and indulged us in answering all our questions. We ended up buying many of the bottles we tasted and were very happy to have stopped here. It turned out to be the unexpected highlight of our night!

Darla Cafe
14572 Big Basin Wy, SaratogaDarla Cafe is one of the newest restaurant additions to Downtown Saratoga and to the Asian fusion brunch scene. Overall the food is decent though pricey. It does have some interesting spins on brunch that contain some lavish ingredients from wagyu to lobster and softshell crab; which could push you to order one way or another. We came around 11/12p on a Sunday and there was no wait though decently bustling inside. We chose the patio which is set around a large shady tree giving the area a nice ambiance. Keep in mind though that there is no ramp so strollers and others requiring ramps may have some difficulty getting to the patio. The eats: 1. Chicken karage and waffle with yuzu mayo. Liked the just-crispy waffle and the karage was overall well-fried though the seasoning was okay. Yuzu mayo could've had been stronger in flavor in my opinion but a nice twist. 2. Loco moco - wagyu beef style. The meat was overall good and the gravy not bad. I don't know that I would've paid $33 for the dish again but it does scratch the loco moco itch. 3. Side of pancake - it was...a normal small pancake with a sprinkle of fruit. What more can I say about it? For $6 I would've desired double the pancakes or a much larger singular pancake. Service was fast. No one really checked on us, but it was brunch (thus casual), service was swift and food arrived fast. Plenty of parking available in sleepy downtown Saratoga.
