Madeline's Pet Care
1616 Pomeroy Ave, Santa ClaraWe brought our 10yo Border collie to be groomed at Madeline’s pet care and are very happy with our experience. They are very professional and know exactly how to groom each breed and they had the patience to groom our dog (needs a lot of combing). The availability was good and they seemed gentle with the dogs.I had some misunderstanding and was surprised about the pricing so make sure you understand the total. But we are still happy with the outcome and we plan on being regulars. Thank you Terrie and team!

Pet Sitting & Training
Bay Area K9 Association
1089 Memorex Dr, Santa ClaraWe couldn't be happier with our training experience with Steve! When we brought our 5-month-old Aussie to him, we aimed to create a life where both our dog and we could enjoy each other's company. Steve emphasized the crucial aspect of building a strong relationship with your dog, debunking the misconception in some reviews that he only plays with dogs until they're tired. In reality, he highlighted the significance of play as a rewarding element in training, making it enjoyable for the dog. Steve also emphasized the importance of neutrality in different environments, especially around other dogs. His unique approach sets him apart as one of the top trainers in the Bay Area. We're incredibly grateful to Steve for teaching us effective communication with our pup! He also takes some really cool pictures of your pup :)

Sweet Doggies
1800 De La Cruz Blvd, Santa ClaraSweet Doggies is very likely the best doggy daycare that I have taken my dogs to, and we have attended many over the years and across many different states! Some highlights:- The team is kind and really care about the doggies! They know and remember my doggie Jim and he is always happy and relaxed around each of them.- The team always keep an eye on the doggies and will provide short time-outs if necessary to interrupt and deescalate bad behavior. I really appreciate their consistent monitoring!- Jim is always soooo excited at drop-off and happy at pick-up.- Daycare hours are amazing (I just wish there was also a Saturday option).- Facility is so clean!- The only daycare I know that offers the first week (5 consecutive weekdays) as a free trial to make sure the fit is mutual for both the daycare and client.- Option to check-in on your doggie via webcam at any time! Thanks, Sweet Doggies team! We really appreciate you and the services you provide for our community.

Fuzzy Wolf Canine Behavioral Training
796 Jackson St, Santa ClaraJimi has been a godsend for my pack of pups… she’s helped me with my pocket pup 5lb yorkie mix as well as my 130 lb cane corso and my 70 lb am staff mix…. She’s not only extremely informative but she also inspired me and brought out the pack leader in me . I would trust her with my furbabies implicitly and I highly recommend anyone looking for a real dog behaviorist to give Jimi a call you won’t regret it!

Wag Hotels - Santa Clara
2000 Duane Ave, Santa ClaraGreat service. The people who work there seem to really care about our dog as they greet her by name and coax her to go with them into the facility. We have tried other places and had not great exepreinces. I was not sure this would be any different when we first tried but it was great so now this is one of our favorites when we need to leave Sam behind while we travel. Totally recommend them!

Kenny's Cafe
2315 De La Cruz Blvd, Santa ClaraWalking in immediately I already feel the friendly service from Kenny. The place is not your typical restaurant. He is the only one running the shop so you gotta be patient but it’s definitely an intimate experience. He even takes a selfie with every customer. The man found happiness through this place and you gotta respect it. Just for his heart and personal service I am already giving this place 5 stars.

Barebottle Brewing Company - Santa Clara
2520 Augustine Dr, Santa ClaraGreat vibe with tables on one side to chat with your folks, a bar area to sit and work, and an area with old school arcade games and a pool table. There’s also a cozy seating area with couches and a coffee table. Great beer that rotates and the bartenders are extremely knowledgeable and descriptive about their stock of beers (shoutout to Matthew!). Would definitely recommend checking out this spot, great to socialize with a big or small group, to get work done, and to play some OG games! Really enjoyed my experience here!

FRIENDSHIP BBQ
2783 El Camino Real, Santa ClaraFirst time visiting this place after seeing it on yelp. Looking for a great skewer place that was authentic (thinking of China). As we approached the entrance we were greeted by an amazing smell of grilled food. Everyone seemed very excited and the wait was long due to many hungry customers. The staff was very friendly and the food even before eating, I know it is fantastic just from the smell and looks.

Restaurant Gish
1998 Homestead Rd Suite 113, Santa ClaraI finally had the opportunity to check out Restaurant Gish! I've had the place bookmarked for a while after reading one of my friend's reviews. Due to dietary preferences (i.e. I don't eat pork), I patiently waited for a menu that didn't appear to have pork as an ingredient. The restaurant was cozy and quaint, and it's kind of in an obscure location in a strip mall. I treated myself to dinner at Restaurant Gish and had an overall wonderful experience. I made reservations for 1 at the Chef's counter. What was cool was that the other guest at the counter was also treating herself for dinner and had never been to Restaurant Gish. The hospitality of the chefs were exceptional. They were all very pleasant and personable. In addition to sharing their inspiration and ingredients for each dish, they were fun just fun to chat with. Prior to serving the first dish, one of the chefs asked about my dietary preferences. I mentioned that I don't eat pork. He pointed out how one of the sauces had a sauce base, but he said they could modify the sauce without pork in order to comply with my preference. In fact, I learned that they modify ingredients all the time for guests. I don't have to wait so long for a menu without pork next time. Restaurant Gish offered a prix fixe menu. I opted for the wine pairings, which I thought went quite well with each dish. The last two wines paired with the entree and dessert were particularly outstanding. I enjoyed everything I ate, but I especially loved the lamb.

Rocko's Ice Cream Tacos
2905 Park Ave, Santa ClaraMy friend and I are foodies; she is vegan and myself dairy-free we're always on the hunt for good vegan ice cream! She recommended Rocko's for dessert and I couldn't pass up on trying an ice cream taco! Right when I stepped in, I knew this was a popular spot. Artsy paintings, a neighborhood vibe, and happy customers rolling in and out are what you'll find. There's limited bar stool seating inside but most take it to-go. Lines can be long or short, but turnaround is fast. They have desserts for all--dairy, vegan, and gluten-free options galore! You're able to build your sweet treat or get one of their signatures. I chose to enjoy a Tiny Ice Cream Taco, my flavor of choice being the Vegan Matcha Oreo. For toppings, I had Dark Chocolate and Sprinkles. The tiny was the perfect size and it can get quite messy! The matcha was prevalent and not too sweet while the taco had a nice crunch to it. My friend enjoyed her Tiny Ice Cream Taco as well! For those craving ice cream and a unique way to eat it, I recommend Rocko's Ice Cream Tacos! Find them easily off Park Ave. with street parking.
