10631 Prospect Ave, SanteeWe were visiting Santee and needed somewhere to keep our dog so we could go to the Zoo. Called Sue and she told me the setup. My dog is not a doggy daycare type of dog. He just wants to lay in a crate and be left alone. In fact, a doggy daycare downtown rejected him on a previous trip because they are an everybody-in-the-playground kind of place. So while this wasn't his favorite scenario, being in a room with other sometimes barking dogs, he was alone in his own dog run, with his blanket, with no overfriendly dogs trying to make him act like a normal dog and be okay with them up in his grill. We dropped him off and off we went to see some animals .. At the end of the day we left the zoo in time to be back by closing time per Google maps, but had to call on the way because of the infamous traffic (we had no idea it was that bad). They stayed open for us to pick him up, and we had a nice chat when we arrived. Our pooch was happy and healthy and we had a great day. The price was a bargain, and so that afforded me to give the young lady who helped us at pickup a healthy tip. Whenever we are in the area, we will definitely use this business to babysit our boy when needed.

I have gone to Pepper Farm Deli mainly for lunch during weekdays and it gets really busy with dine-in and take-out orders. But, the food quality and taste, as well as, the service they give has always been excellent and never gets affected by the lunch time rush. Highly recommend this place for there Hot and Cold Sandwiches. Still need to try everything else on the menu.

The baristas were friendly and patient with me and my friend while we turned our brains on early in the morning. The food containers were a little hard to open so if you have any issues w/ your fine motor skills or using your hands get a friend to help you!

But I had an experience that really makes this place worth of your time and money - I had a pretty last minute and slightly complicated order: I wanted jars of milk tea and boba sold separate so I could take it home and let my guests be able to kind of build their own drinks. It wasn’t an official cater order and I needed that evening, for about 15 drinks worth. They didn’t have extra tea on hand and many of the teas need proportioned syrups and sauce that can’t really be made at home without proper equipment. It had to go through Nick the manager, and after much coordination, he and the two guys working that evening were able to accommodate me, even giving me a discount and doing their best to compromise with my needs. I brought containers and they made some of their more simple teas but still delicious to put in them. They even gave me extra teas and helped me carry it all to my car. I really appreciated their kindness, patience, and hard work and will continue coming here for years to come!! All my guests loved the idea and the tea ???

10251-B Mast Blvd, SanteeThis is our second time here, and definitely will not be our last. I like coming here because I can get my sushi and sashimi fix, and my wife can get her Thai food fix.
This is a small and unassuming place right next to Domino's Pizza on Mast Blvd. It has a large parking lot with plenty of space to park. We walked in and were greeted immediately, and told to seat ourselves anywhere we wanted.
They brought out waters in metal cups, which was actually pretty neat. I don't know if they have treated their water or what, but it was really good.
We ordered pretty quickly because the menu isn't very large, but they do have a decent selection of items. The only recommendation I would make is that I'd like to see pictures of the food on the menu.
My wife ordered the fresh spring rolls with shrimp ($13.46) and a small Tom Kha ($12.42) with mixed seafood (+$5). I did not taste the Tom Kha because I do not like coconut, but she enjoyed it. She got spicy level 5 and had some trouble with it. She swore she was fine though, through sniffles and coughing.
I ordered the Energy Roll (#21.74 - worth it), the Yellowtail Sashimi ($20.70 - also worth it), and seaweed salad ($8.28). So let's start with the Energy Roll. Go look at the picture. This thing is just a massive amount of sashimi (salmon, tuna, and yellowtail), a thin roll of rice, and some masago on the outside. It's like a giant sashimi burrito. You'll pay double that amount for a sashimi sampler with less sashimi at other spots.
The Yellowtail Sashimi was really good. It was served on a bed of ice, with a pile of shredded daikon radish. The texture and flavor was amazing. Tastes like it came right out of the ocean and landed on my plate.
We shared a small plate of seaweed salad, which is what you'd expect. For drinks, I stuck with my water but she ordered a Thai Iced Tea ($7.25), which I thought was a bit on the pricy side until I saw that it came in a massive gigantic cup. She couldn't drink it all and they provided a to go cup, which was very nice.
I didn't have any problems with the service. Everyone was super nice and helpful. It wasn't busy at all when we went, and our food came out fairly quickly.
10/10 would absolutely recommend this place.
10/10 will come back in a week. I will probably order ahead and pick up food for lunch since I work from home.

They even changed the TV to the game that we wanted to watch. The burgers are excellent. The price is reasonable and the staff actually looked like they liked being there on a Sunday morning.
