“Always love visiting Carr when I'm in Santa Ynez. 2 minute walk from ForFriends in...right near SY Kitchen. I like to stop in at the end of a day of wine tasting before getting ready for dinner. Beautiful tasting room and always friendly pouring service to go with the very nice wines. An enjoyable mellow experience guaranteed. I still have a bunch of their candles!”
“My husband took me to Space VR for my birthday and I had a wonderful time there. It's our first time playing VR games and the owner Jamie did a wonderful job explaining how everything works before the game and also during the game when we needed help. A little different than other arcades I have seen, Space VR places each player in a separate tent so that you are aware of the space you are in and not to cross boundary and hitting people or things while playing an intense game. We had a really good experience and we look forward to coming back again next time we are in Solvang.”
“I would say this is a must visit winery if in the area. The wines did not disappoint, they have a Chardonnay unlike any we've tasted before and an amazing Cab. The atmosphere is warm and cozy and Yazmin was amazing. The establishment is pet friendly so we enjoyed the company of our Yorkie as we tasted.”

“Food was good and our server was excellent! We had a lovely dinner! My husband ordered the pork chop and I had sweetbreads that were yummy with a sunchoke purée and capers! We had a delicious bread to start the meal with cocktails! And dessert we had the chocolate soufle that was also delicious! We would recommend it to friends Limited menu choices!”

“Breakfast didn't meet my expectations at this room rate. Waitress was efficient and sweet. Public rooms are nice. Small yard is nice for kids to run around. Parking is good. Hotel has a fine restaurant on the neighboring lot and is a block away from another lovely restaurant, coffee shops and bakery. Streets are very quiet and calm. Los Olivos and Solvang are a few minutes drive away.Rooms: Spacious. Nice bed. Gas fireplace. Quiet. Elevator access. Walk in shower.Safety: Very quiet here. Seems safe to walk in the small town at night.”
