“I have been renting cars multiple times from this location, never had any issues. This time I got an EV, the person at the pickup told me explicitly that I don't have to charge the car (it was a one way rental to SFO). Yet, I was charged an additional fee for not charging the car. In addition, Avis refused to issue a refund.
EDIT: I was contacted by Avis Santa Rosa and they did refunded me a charging fee. Mistakes can always happen. How they are resolved is the real test of the company attitude. Local team here passed it with flying colors.”
“No problems renting a car, they were not able to provide me a car with a working GPS the day I needed it and I was counting on that as my drive was taking me out of town and I was not familiar with the area so the guy at budget rental upgraded me to a new Cadillac to drive for no extra cost since they could not give me a GPS that day. So it ended up being a nice ride regardless of having to stop directions.”

He was extremely helpful and instructive. He assured me that he would keep an eye on flight, and hold the car for us, which he did. The employee at the counter was very welcoming when we arrived, and when we returned the car. Customer service was exemplary from start to finish. The car was clean and perfect for our travel needs for the extended weekend.”

I was worried about this place after reading soo many bad reviews, but I had no issues, I used my own insurance rented a car for 5 days. When they took pictures I asked them to send it to my email as well. When I had to return the car it was Saturday with no parking spots and no one on site, I was worried about leaving the car until Monday, I took pics of everything including full tank of gas and mileage. I received a receipt that everything has closed out on Monday, no extra charges, no issues.”

I almost always get a live human within 30 seconds of calling, and they always solve my problems well, sometimes even when it's my own fault (e.g., helping me unlock the car after I've gone over the deadline and shouldn't have access anymore, so that even though there's a late fee, I can at least extend the reservation and drive home!) Got rid of my car because there were always several Zipcars closer to my house than I could ever park my own car!”
