Pet Foodie LA
2523 17th St, Santa MonicaLove this wonderful place so much!! We took our 60lb Golden retriever there for a bath and deshedding treatment. Our pup sheds SO much, I didn’t expect it would be noticeably different afterwards. She came back to us SO beautifully clean, unbelievably soft and looked 10lbs lighter with all the fur they combed off!Our girl also came home with a sweet bandana around her neck and a special treat— she was sooo happy afterwards. They also sent us a grooming report afterwards with how she did and anything else they noticed. The whole process was so professional, the facilities are spotless, and everyone who works there is so kind and helpful. My new go-to place for grooming and pet supplies!

My Pet Naturally
3240 Pico Blvd, Santa MonicaThis incredible place saved my dog! I have a three-pound 16-year-old chihuahua who's had raw food her whole life. Several months ago, she lost interest in everything I gave her no matter what I tried (and it was A LOT.) I knew it wasn't a medical issue because she had no problem eating her treats. The female that answered the phone was patient, kind, and knowledgeable. The male that helped me when I arrived was the same way, and he spent so much time with me. He also gave me several samples to try which is so helpful for a dog that's so picky. The very first thing I opened was raw bison and she eagerly enjoyed it like she used to. It brought me so much joy to see her enjoying her food again and so much relief to know that I'll be able to keep weight on her while keeping her healthy as she ages. Thank you so very much for being such an amazing and reliable resource for pet parents!

Moon Doggy's Grooming
1838 Lincoln Blvd, Santa MonicaI had such a great experience from beginning to end. Starting with with booking with Daniel, who was really kind and helpful. First thing he said was that he wanted my pup to have a great experience and want to come back - loved that. The ladies who do the grooming are amazing. Donna was the groomer that helped my fur child and she left her absolutely gorgeous. I should add that when I brought her in she was a matted, mop bucket. Thank you for her transformation. Also shout out to Leslie and Daniela who are the other sweet groomers that work there. I definitely found my new place!

2709 Santa Monica Blvd, Santa MonicaMy friend's cat needed a simple nail trim and we called all around town and none of the petco's or other grooming places could do it. Puppy Play Time
627 9th St, Santa MonicaJoe is the best thing that’s happened to my rescue pup since being adopted. She’s struggled to open up and I also feel bad for leaving her during my long hours at work. I found Joe on google and gave him a shot… the cute pup pics Sold me! My dog now is a different dog… she shakes less around new dogs and tail is up and wagging! She actually played for the first time with our cat! I’ve never seen her play at all, ever, before this. Joe is very accommodating with last minute requests and charges a reasonable price for full day daycare. I trust Joe implicitly. Also, he’s better than dog whisperer!! :) I’m very jealous of her.. beach walks, fresh air, and lots of new buddies!

Feet & Paws
3201 Airport Ave, Santa MonicaHighly recommended! I had the puppy blues and was completely overwhelmed with where to start and what to do. Our puppy was very difficult to walk, biting, and all around puppy-like (of course!) but it was leaving me overwhelmed. We signed up for Puppy Kindergarten and it made a huge difference. By the end of the session you have all the tools you need to keep the training going on your own. For me, it was helpful to have accountability with the class environment. It also helped me reframe the way I saw her and all my frustrations. After all, she's just a puppy and she didn't know what I wanted her to do! She can now do sit, down, come, and loose leash walk with minimal guidance from me. It's a huge turnaround in a very short amount of time. Thank you, Tracy!

Balanced Dogs
2632 Wilshire BlvdSuite 345, Santa MonicaWe highly recommend working with Dee for any and all dog needs!
We rescued a 10 month old puppy this spring and added her to our family with two other dogs and a cat.
Within the first week we discovered our new member was extremely anxious (she escaped once and was gone for hours), was up through the night and not housebroken. This prompted us to connect with Dee where we collaborated on our goals together, and set our focus on reducing anxiety, potty and crate training, and teaching hand signals to keep our pup from bolting out the door.
Two months later, we are THRILLED to report that our puppy’s anxiety levels are down dramatically, she is 99% potty trained, fully crate trained and sleeping through the night and not a single attempt at an escape. An added bonus is seeing the benefit all of this has had on our other dogs and how quickly the puppy and cat were able to integrate.
We did our meetings with Dee over FaceTime, starting at 3 to 4 times a week, and naturally decreasing as Dee’s program was so effective. Dee is extremely knowledgeable, provides clear instruction, and has a way of explaining situations from a dog’s perspective that makes it easy to understand the interventions.
Scheduling time with her was easy. We greatly appreciated her being firm about following guidelines because it kept us on track. However, she is also understanding and flexible when we expressed needing adjustments based on our own lifestyle or goals for our family.
We have a calm and cohesive family and are beyond grateful for Dee who was integral in this process.

Paws in Motion
1002 7th St, Santa MonicaI got in touch with Ashley when my elderly father could no longer walk his dog. Ash was great from the get go. Nothing is too much trouble for her, she takes Sunny for his groom. Sunny looks staring at the front door until Ash, Scott or Zoe arrive. Sunny is no spring chicken himself but absolutely loves the adventures he goes on. Can’t recommend Paws in Motion team highly enough!

Rabano
2507 Main St, Santa MonicaIf I could teleport to Rabano to eat this again, I would. Ordered soup of the day which was Chicken Noodle Soup & Lechon Cubano. I am a big fan of cuban food and chicken noodles soup so you bet I had a good time consuming these delicious bowls in front of me. There is no private parking but a lot of public parking is available since this restaurant is located in Main St. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for good eats. They also have a cafe section available with bakery goods and coffee!

Yagul Cafe
530 Wilshire Blvd Suite 107, Santa MonicaI took my friend for her birthday for lunch. The minute we walked in we were charmed by Yagul. The friendliness of the staff, who might have been the owners. We basically ordered the same meal. The taco combo. There were different choices. I had the chicken and shrimp, served with rice and beans. The chicken and shrimp were cooked perfectly and generous. The shell of the taco is corn and definitely home made. The pico de gallo was flavorful. My friend had shrimp and veggies. I am normally not a fan of Mexican rice, bland, this was fluffy and complimented the meal. I orderd the hibiscus limeade which is made in house. This is so refreshing and memorable, I will be ordering that again. We left saying how we can't wait to go back and what we would order next. They are opened for breakfast and lunch. My friend took home a steak burrito for her husband. He enjoyed it as well.

Pier Burger
330 Santa Monica Pier, Santa MonicaWhile it may not claim the title of the best burger in town, it certainly tops the list on the pier. The vegetarian options are somewhat limited, with just one to choose from. However, the vintage vibe of the place coupled with its fantastic atmosphere more than makes up for it. The fries are notably tasty, and the extensive selection of frozen custard shakes is impressively unique.
Vegetarian options: One veggie burger, not to my taste as it’s a processed patty.
Parking: Parking lot on the pier and down the pier along the boardwalk

Voice For The Animals
2633 Lincoln Blvd #202, Santa MonicaWe adopted our sweet cat here a few months ago and they've been great! They did a detailed home check to make sure that their adoptable pets will only go to loving, safe homes. For me this is very important! The adoption coordinator has been super helpful, giving us lots of advice on how to introduce the cats to each other and other questions we had. They truly care about the animals! We can highly recommend this organization!

BUSINESS ADDRESS NOT ADOPTION SITE, 2632 Wilshire Blvd #190, Santa MonicaRandee is amazing at pairing people and dogs together. She has successfully paired me twice now. At first I thought she was incredibly strict, but I have realized it is simply because she wants to make the perfect match for both the human and canine.
Cookie (aka Cha Cha) was with me 15 years and passed at 18. While I was still grieving her passing, Randee knew that Einstein would be my next great love. It's been over a year, and he has captured my heart completely. He is the perfect addition. Can't thank Randee and her dedicated team enough.
