“The excellent service and or maintenance provided by both Javier and Sergio is truly top notch. They are always so quick to respond to any issue- whether it is just a light bulb for my patio or advocating on my behalf so that I may have a brand new washer/dryer (my old ones were not working well). This superior service is extremely difficult to find in downtown SM where the population is so transient. It is one of those factors many don't think about when considering a new home but definitely should be considered.In addition, the new front office manager (Elijah) has been a gift to this community. He has gone to great efforts to bolster security by changing key codes, locks (back door alley), and quickly responding to tenant needs.”

“This review is only for the viewing, as I don’t live here… yet ;).Erin called me on a Saturday, replying to an inquiry I sent online, and I just so happened to be in the area doing errands and she accommodated my schedule right away. She gave a lovely tour of the grounds and showed me some units I wasn’t even really considering, but instantly loved! She was working off of my boyfriend and my reaction to the units I was originally interested in and really hit the nail with the others. Erin explained everything very thoroughly and even took the time to email me right away when I asked for some info. Very responsive, effective management from Erin!!!Travis helped me with some administrative and logistical tasks of filling out my paper application. He was very quick and very helpful when answering my questions.Even the cleaning staff was so friendly while I was waiting in the lobby.I feel like Erin and Travis really worked well together and it elevated my experience as a future resident. I’m very happy to have had such an amazing start to a beautiful new chapter at Pacific Plaza!”

“I'm a long time resident.18 years SVT has been my address.Plain and simple...I (we) love it. My fiancée has 10 years experience herself now, and our rescue doggos have 3 and 5 each.Yes, SVT is a pet friendly community.Feels like an old-school residence with plenty of new and improved updates.New ownership jumped right in and began upgrading. Everything. Inside and out.Sure, upgrades and improvements come with issues and inconvenience, but the efforts our residential management team make it okay. And, you can count on them. All that they provide makes this a wonderful community and residence to live in. Plus, the property is clean and well maintained because the services of Joel and Jose whom are constantly working on something to keep this place in the best condition possible.The amenities are great too; beautifully remodeled and upgraded swimming pool with comfortable lounging/sun bathing area. The upgraded rooftop social lounges with amazing views. Did I mention Pet Friendly. Accessible and convenient laundry rooms, subterranean parking, beautiful entryway, clean and secure.Now, being an older resident, I have an older apartment, but I've been in plenty of the newly remodeled apartments, and they are two thumbs up. Love the hardwood floors. Very nice.When it comes to neighborhoods, what could be better. Short walk to the beach, Palisades Park and the famed Santa Monica stairs for a healthy workout, and you have all of San Vicente Blvd island if you're a runner/jogger/walker.Easy access to PCH and 10Fwy, and everything else is minutes away.If you like the beach, like a quieter side of town, or just want to live in a really beautiful space, I recommend SVT.”

“We moved to this place just earlier this month and it already feels like our new home! The location is perfect as it is within 10 min walk to the beach and the Promenade is right around the corner. I was initially concerned about possible noise as our windows face Broadway, but once all the doors and windows are closed, it gets really quiet. Lastly, I wanted to mention our wonderful experience with the leasing team. It’s been a pleasure working with Elijah! He is very welcoming, accommodating, and professional. If I have any concern, it’s always addressed in a timely manner.”

“I lived in "The Shores" (south tower) in 1976, 1987, 1990, 1998, 2012, 2020 for 2 months on the 16th or 17th floor, but I only now found out that you can rate the facility. I would like to emphasize that there is a huge difference whether you live here permanently or only for a short time. I have never seen the homeless people mentioned in the other posts inside the complex, in the garage, by the pool. And only sporadically outside in the park. Concierge both female and male were always helpful and I always got the parking pass. No matter whether during the day or in the evening. The pool, jacuzzi and gym are very well maintained and I always enjoyed my stay there. In any case, I will happily return on my visits to the USA as it is better than a hotel. The covered houses surprised me too. Termites are controlled with gas and residents are accommodated in hotels.”

“I rented a studio apartment at Criterion Promenade and absolutely loved it. The location is amazing- right on the Promenade in downtown Santa Monica. They remodeled the entire interior of the building, but kept the classic exterior architecture that my girlfriend jokes looks like a fairytale castle. I picked the interior unit which was important for me because it is very quiet. The exterior units on the actual Promenade have a lot going on outside, so be mindful of this depending on how you sleep. Charlene and building staff are all awesome, only had a couple problems with garbage disposal etc and they fixed quickly. Overall highly recommended, just wanted to pass on my experience..”
