“Awesome scuba shop.
My wife did her open water certification, and then we both recently did our advanced certification.
Charlie and Boomer did a really wonderful job with the course, my wife felt very safe the whole time and you can tell these guys really love what they do. 100 percent recommend this shop to anybody looking for a great dive shop and community.”

“Renegade is simply the best juggling prop supplier in America, hands down, bar none, no questions asked, it is not even a contest, they are in a league of their own!
I have been buying props from Renegade my entire juggling career, over 36 years!
I keep coming back to Renegade year after year for many reasons. 1. They carry the best equipment. As a professional, I need high quality equipment that is precise, reliable, and performs the way I need it to.
2. They are incredibly knowledgeable and helpful in finding the right products. The Renegade crew has been juggling a good while longer than I have and you will not find more knowledgeable purveyors of juggling equipment.
3. No bullshit, no gimmicks. Renegade will always give you straight information and will never try to make a sale just to get your cash.
4. Incredible, absolutely top flight customer service. Just the other day I was on a gig away from home and needed a rush order of some wick that I had left at home. Bob saw my order, gave me a call to check my time constraint, and made sure product was in my hands in time for the gig.
5. Renegade is always innovating. Renegade doesn't just sell product, they make some of the most innovative and high performing props in the world and they are always refining designs to keep up with the times.
If you want the best of the best, Renegade is the only place to call for juggling props. Period. End of story.”
“This is such an amazing outdoor shop. Their selection of equipment is fine tuned to just what you may need on a backpacking or camping trip. I cannot recommend this place enough!”
“I had the best experience buying shoes at REI. Evan, of the shoe dept, was so helpful. I have purchased shoes in the past, but never experienced the level of customer service that Evan provided. Thank you Evan. I bought two pair.”
“This is my second review of this business because the prices, selection and customer service just keep getting better and better! This is my go to dispensary. The employees are always friendly and knowledgeable. The selection is steady and they are constantly adding new products that are amazing. On top of all of that when you sign up for the text messages the deals they send are crazy good! This is the only dispensary that I recommend to all of my friends.”
“Robbie & Hannah rock. Got us hooked up with 2 boards for a killer deal and let us try out a couple wetsuits before buying. Super good vibe in the shop, 100% will be back ?”
“Great deals to be had at the Santa Cruz Warriors team store. Once a season, deals with Rakuten where if you buy $50 you get a free jacket. This compared to $75 deal with the GS Warriors but a different cool jacket too…. Both great deals! Don’t forget to see a basketball game. The organization is top class with fair prices and GREAT promotional giveaways. The atmosphere is electric . If I lived closer I’d be a season ticket holder but 8-10 games a year and one playoffs”
“I love this shop . It has all the core essentials without that stupid corporate vibe great selection of all type of surfboard shape. Also snacks and coffee to boot.”
“Great boards and great service! Went over all the details with me and narrowed down my board specifics to exactly what I was thinking. So stoked! Thanks Dylan and Stretch Co.!”
“I love this store. They often have great deals and the staff are always really helpful and friendly.
Just the other day I was scrambling to prepare for a long backpack after getting a last minute permit for the JMT. I needed some specific gear but this outlet didn't have my size. Sarah not only helped me source it from the Palo Alto store, but also found an employee there (Heath) who was kind enough to drive the gear to Santa Cruz on their commute.
It was such a major help to not have to schlep over the hill to Palo Alto when I was scrambling to get everything ready in a short period of time.
Thank you so much, Sarah and Heath!!”
“I am so impressed with this particular Rip curl store. I purchased items at a Rip Curl Store and they did not work out so I returned them receiving a gift card. I saw the wetsuit I wanted online and attempted to purchase it with my gift card. It would not work. Upon calling A customer service number I found online, they were very helpful but unfortunately I had an in-store gift card and to purchase items online you need an online gift card. Very frustrating considering it was a bigger item I purchased. Anyways I went to the Rip curl store on the west side and they did not want to help me at all. The girl at the register was very nice but upon calling their store manager they were told they could not help me. I called the customer service number back and despite his efforts he was not able to help me resolve this. He said to go into another retail store and perhaps they will be more helpful. I went into the Rip curl store on 41st Ave. and I was immediately blown away with the helpful attitudes of the staff. Keenan I hope I am spelling his name correctly did an incredible job. He got my phone number and said he would talk to the regional manager and get back to me. I received a call that afternoon. He said to come down and they would take care of me. I went today and Keenan did just as he said he would. I am so impressed with his customer service skills and his attention to detail as well as his eagerness to want to make a situation right. Those are all things that any employer would want to have and an employee and Rip curl is very lucky to have Keenan on their staff. Now I am so excited that I can buy the wetsuit I need to get out in the ocean and paddleboard! I highly recommend the Rip curl store on 41st Ave., and if you go in there be sure to ask for Keenan because he will treat you right. Thanks again!”
“I got some cool men's shorts here! In an ideal world I'd be able to call up a surf shop like this or the smaller ones before a surf trip to Mexico and instead of bikini bottoms there'd be an array of women's surf leggings to protect me from board rash. And lots of rash guards and none of the women's clothing would have any floral prints or pink that would make me look extra basic. There would be bikini tops with clasps and adjustable straps and surf hats to protect me from the sun. I wouldn't have to go on Amazon and mix and match. That being said their women's marketing team is making their stuff less gross unlike the ONeill women's team which believes women should look like they give massages to Epstein (just kidding) and literally should never have fun. Ideally this store would also feature really muscular female surfer models and there would be clothes I could actually wear around the Bay Area for months that aren't four hot days in September. They'd also have tons of cool women surfing short boards and burning bikinis in a bonfire and men would surf in Speedo's but that's the next step of the revolution”
“Spot on excellent and speedy customer service. They had exactly what I needed on stock and knew exactly what to line me up with once I told them my typical needs for shoes. Great local athletic shoe store.”
