“We carefully selected Stratford School - Santa Clara Winchester campus for our son based on really good feedback from our friends and community members who have kids studying there, particularly, about Ms. Weiss and Ms. Swathi. We are now super happy that we selected the right school for our kid. This is his second year at the same school and he had developed many critical skills, including reading, maths and science in short time. He love to go to school, and he always talks about Ms. Weiss's class. He also developed interest in Chess, Science and Soccer due to the special clubs that the school offers and Spanish language class is an added benefit.”

“Our daughter is in the Toddler room #1, and at kindercare for 15 months. Her teachers, Ms Yormeri, Ms Mariah, and Ms Giselle have been incredible. Everyday, our Kid is always excited to see her teacher (Ms Yormeri) at school, and would be looking for her if she’s not here yet.Their bonding made us confident that she’s in great hand, safe, happy and would be well taken care of.”

“My son joined this school when he was 2.5 years and stayed there for almost 1.5 years. He practically grew up there. He was little delayed in his speaking skills before joining the school. Upon joining we could literally see the development within 3 months as he started to use words along with actions and communicate with us. This got developed into using words as a sentence, our friends were able to see this drastic change and his basic everyday practice of cleanliness etc. Their curriculum is really good and matches with the current trend. Ms.Vidya had been our guide throughout this time with regular feedback and sharing the progress of his development. Ms.Sumi played a vital role in his development and my kid was so fond of her. She is exceptional with kids. Due to unfortunate plans we had to pull him out, otherwise he would have continued there till his Pre-K graduation.”

“This review is long overdue. My son started attending SCPNS in March 2022 with teacher Sara in the 2's class. He absolutely loved it. The school is play based, so they offer a bunch of sensory opportunities for the kids. Now my son is in Myla's class and she had a more structured class, but by no means less fun. Since the kids are older she can have activities that are tailored to older kids while still being fun. She teaches great concepts like how to wait your turn, be mindful of other's opinions etc in a age appropriate way. My son adores her and the other teachers at SCPNS. There is a parent discussion component that at first I didn't expect to be that useful, but now I find those talks/discussions are very insightful. Moreover, if I ever have a question about how I should approach something with regards to my son, i feel comfortable asking the teacher for advice. In addition, being in the classroom and observing how the teachers interact/handle situations has prepared me for when I encounter those situations on my own on my day to day life. I would recommend this pre-school, if you are on the fence check out an open house or ask for a tour during class time, you can see first hand what this pre-school is all about.”

“Both of our girls attended CWBM and graduated this August. During the two and a half years they were in CWBM, we saw their significant growth in various areas. One of the best things about CWBM is they nurture children's independence while motivating them to explore the rich learning materials. CWBM provides a safe and supportive environment with excellent teachers guiding children at their own pace. Our girls truly love CWBM, and the schools have become such an important part of their lives. They ask to go back to se the teachers and friends almost everyday.”

“Ms Rizwana is by far one of the most kind, caring, passionate, and thoughtful teachers that we have had. She cares about her students and makes a real difference in their lives. Our daughter loved her and sometimes wanted to go back to school on weekends just because of her. She also makes a good connection with parents and is open to suggestions and special requests. We had an amazing experience at Stratford, A4 class, thanks to Ms. Rizwana and Ms. Vicky.”

“Our son has attended Montessori Cabrillo for almost two years now, and we are so glad we found this school.Ms. Alyssa, the lead teacher in his assigned classroom is amazing! She's patient and nurturing, and my son absolutely adores her. We receive weekly updates about subjects that the students learned through the week as well as quarterly reports specific to our child's learning and behavior. During the last parent teacher conferences, we had booked the last time slot of the day, and Ms. Alyssa was very generous with her time, responding to questions we had about our son's activities. Ms. Alyssa and other staff have demonstrated time and time again that they deeply care about our child's learning and well-being.The campus is well kept and the classroom is clean. The play area is spacious and the gardening section is very cute too! Families are asked to pay an annual materials fee, but I feel that the fee is justified as the materials used in some of the art projects appear to cost more than the average materials like crayons and construction paper. The school partners with several independent providers who offer extracurricular activities which are very convenient (e.g., drum class and soccer).Overall, my son is in good spirits and returns home from school very happy. He even asks my husband to pick up our other son first so he can spend more time at school! We believe that Cabrillo Montessori has played an important role in building his communication and interpersonal skills as well as his motivation to help around the house and try new activities. I recommend Cabrillo Montessori for any parent looking for a balanced, fun, and educational community for their child.”

“Happy Days Child Development Center in Santa Clara is a stellar early childhood education program. Their program is top notched in the Silicon Valley. My son was a student at Happy Days. In his first days going to school, we had some "separation anxiety". As parents, we were not ready to get him into a school environment and our son was not ready to get weaned off from "mommy daycare", but we had to go back to work. Dr. Marmen Mendoza and the team of teachers made it very easy for us to transition him to this new environment. They have set up a plan where we can drop him off without a hitch. Ms. Meena and the staff just know what to do and they do it best. We were impressed with their hands-on curriculum as it promotes learning using all sensory functions. He especially liked doing artwork to show it off to his family and friends. We were astonished to see all the creative work our son did as it was exhibited at the major events at school, to name a few: Diwali, Thanksgiving, Trick or Treat, the Holidays, Independence Day, St. Patrick's, President's Day, Spring Festival, and many more events in between led by Ms. Mila. Our son still talks about their field trip to the Planetarium, the Emma Prusch Farm, Animal Petting at the Zoo, etc. The campus is safe and secure. The complex is fully fenced up, the front door has a special closing & locking system, and everyone keeps a good eye on all the students. I always feel ease in leaving my precious son in their care. What can I say about the food the food they serve? I appreciate the fact that they pay great attention to proper nutrition and healthy eating habits. Up to this point, my son still remembers enjoying the hot meals, Lentil Soup, freshly cut fruits, etc. lovingly prepared by Ms. Freketa. Play time was special. I had fond memories of playing in the age-appropriate playgrounds supervised by Ms. Najibeh. It was always fun seeing my son having a great time playing, running, biking, and other outdoor activities with the other children. To say the least, my son had a wonderful experience at Happy Days. Because of this, his transition to first grade was easy. It is an understatement to say that we, as a family, had a wonderful time with lots of happy memories at Happy Days. From time to time, we still visit Happy Days to see the lifelong friends we made! Indeed, we had a lot of happy days at Happy Days! We highly recommend it to busy Silicon Valley families and professionals. I say it was worth every penny. I guarantee it!”

“St. Lawrence, that's our school, the more we yell, the more we rule!I attended in 8th grade only as we were in a family transition and my mother chose St. Lawrence elementary and the girl's high school for my older sister. It was the best thing to happen at the time and we went on to both graduate from Archbishop Mitty. I went back to visit Santa Clara in 2007 and I actually walked the grounds and really felt nostalgia.”

“My son started going to Montecillo Monroe at the age of ~ 2.5 years and graduated when he turned 5. Montecillo made pre school easy and a wonderful experience for our family. The teachers are very loving and patient towards the kids. They have a good balance between structure, fun, learning and play. My son really enjoyed his time here and misses Montecillo dearly as he moved on to another school for kindergarten. Miss Celena runs the school in a very structured manner. She is kind and courteous, and was always very approachable. Miss Darlene is a pleasure to communicate with and is always patient and compassionate in her approach with parents. The administration is thorough, and on top of everything. Pandemic was an unprecedented time. They frequently addressed questions/concerns and navigated everyone through challenging situations efficiently. Along with taking appropriate precautions, they always have a high bar for cleanliness and we appreciated that. I can't thank Miss Monika and Miss Sheryl enough for providing a loving environment for my child in TK. It's such a blessing when you can drop your child feeling happy, knowing that he will be taken care of and will be learning while having a blast. The summer of 2023 was a lot of fun with field trips, art, water plays, petting animals, bouncy house and many more activities. The only downside is that it has been very hard for our family to adjust to a new school for elementary! We all miss Montecillo Monroe!”
