“This is a fantastic public high school in the Evergreen neighborhood of San Jose. From my perspective as a parent, I'd gladly say that the teachers and administration care about students, provide great opportunities for learning, and work to offer all the students need inside and outside the classroom. This is a place where neighbors of all backgrounds learn side by side and achieve as they see fit. Students here come across as good, kind people who are working hard to be the best students they can be. I haven't had any negative interactions with students or teachers or staff. The community works together to make this a special place.”

“We’re highly recommending Discovery and their play based approach to learning. Our little one always comes home with a big smile on their face. On days when there’s no school they are asking when they can go back. The member community is highly motivated and engaged. Being able to participate during some days at school is amazing as it allows us to see our little one in action with their friends.”

“Centro is a very special place. My youngest just graduated from their preschool program this past summer. She attended the school from 2 to 5 years old. The directors Claudia and Shanean run that school with love, compassion, and the highest cleanliness standards. They are considerate and receptive to parent concerns and truly care for the students as if they were their own. The same can be said of the Maestras as well. The curriculum is well planned out and offers age appropriate activities to foster social and educational development. My husband and I were so grateful for our family’s time at Centro. We would wholeheartedly recommend the school to anyone looking for preschool options in the area.”

“Our daughter started ECLA in early 2021- right after the initial waves of the pandemic. So, she had some stranger anxiety since she was at home all the time during the pandemic. Ms. Gulshan was so loving and caring that the preschool transition for our daughter was a breeze. She stayed at ECLA until she started Elementary school and always kept surprising us with new learnings from all the teachers.”

“Our daughter attended ABC playshool for two years till kindergarten. ABC Playshcool keeps the school organized and clean, and our daughter barely got sick from school, even during the COVID peak time. It is also a good choice if you would like to let your kids have a good bilingual environment. Teachers from ABC Playschool are very nice/patient and they care about each kid.  We also observed that our daughter became more confident with teachers' encouragement.”

“My son had the best experience with Ms. Susie at Moreland preschool. Everyday I could tell he was learning. He always brought the best activities home. I appreciated how she helped my son develop social skills and gain confidence after COVID and having a speech delay. I recommend this preschool highly.”

“After having a line-up of nannies we decided that we needed more structure, stability, and peer interaction. We visited many daycares in our area, and we settled on Evergreen Montessori on YB. Since attending, my daughter has sung a lot more songs, created wonderful keepsake art, and made a lot of friends. The staff is stellar, and I truly can see the care and concern each has for my daughter. The staff watches my daughter closely and aligns with her interests. I can’t say enough wonderful things about Evergreen Montessori on YB. We look forward to watching our daughter blossom.”

“We've had 2 children at 3D Preschool over the last 5 years and they both had a wonderful experiences and have developed good friends and ongoing connections to their teachers. 3D has a well-rounded curriculum that help children develop socially, emotionally, and academically. It is a safe and extremely clean facility, with a lot of extra activities like field trips, sports coaches, music teachers, professional picture day, holiday performance, etc. There were different themes/ focuses of earning which helped things stay fresh and interesting for the kids. They use an app for communication, which has helped a lot, and the director is very hands on in the classrooms when they are working on getting new teachers up to speed. Plus it is very reasonably priced, which is hard to find in this area. If I had to say anything negative, it's only that they can be a little "old fashioned" in gender expectations such as having prizes oriented toward "girls" or "boys" and what they should wear for special performances, etc. However, overall it's been wonderful having our children there.”

My child’s feelings are validated and when those feelings are big or difficult, they are learning foundational emotional regulation skills that they will carry their whole life.The Pre-K program spends part of the year at Vasona in Los Gatos, playing in the creek. It is a truly magical experience that has cemented my child’s love of nature. From making mud soup, to wading through the cold clear water, to building damns there is so much tactile learning and problem solving. This program is the unparalleled. I’m so glad that I found this school for my child.”

“My daughter loves APPS. We started in 2 day year last school year and are now in 3 day with Ms. Ellen. The play based and positive discipline foundation creates such a wonderful and safe environment for our littles. It is comforting knowing that my child is well supported by fellow (positive discipline) parents on the days I am not working in the classroom. APPS is a gem and unlike most schools out there.”

“TLDR -- Mandala is amazing! Enroll your child!! :) My autistic son has friends and confidence in social settings thanks to their nurturing. We knew through his diagnosis that social and emotional situations were his trouble areas but the team at Mandala helped guide him through the year and he is like a whole new kid. We're forever greatful! Full story --My child is diagnosed with mild autism. A specific part of his diagnosis was difficulty socially and emotionally. Naturally, my husband and I were nervous about getting him into the right pre-school because this first step for him would (in our opinion) define school for him for a while. We searched and filtered through many pre-schools and ultimately Mandala stuck out because they specifically mentioned social aspects of growth. I'm not exactly sure where I saw that, but I remember seeing that and being very excited. We enrolled him and were very open about the fact that he was autistic and the transition would be hard for all of us.Ms. Tabatha and Ms. Serena were amazing through the school year. They met our son with friendliness and understanding. They not only kept their cool at his anxiety sessions during drop off in the beginning, but they embraced it and helped him settle. As a parent, I deeply appreciated their follow up texts that our son had settled, is doing an activity, etc. They are supreme teachers!Lastly, what I respect most about Mandala and the teachers there is that they uplift the individual personality of each child. I've volunteered multiple times while my son was in school and I see that each child is nurtured with their personality in mind. All the creativity, confidence, spunkiness, and any and all great positive traits a child has is uplifted and curved in a way that helps them succeed positively. Forever thankful for Mandala! Definitely coming back with my next two children :)”

“Everyone wants the best for their kids which makes picking a school stressful. You can choose lots play based learning or academic to either extreme. Each child thrives differently so making that choice at 2 or 3 years old is extremely hard. What attracted us to LP is they combine a little of each style giving each child the ability to learn different ways and parents the ability to see what resonates best for their child. Our kids entered at 2 yrs old (just after potty training) and will be leaving for Kindergarten next year. We just finished private school tours and assessments and I can honestly say I'm blown away with the education my kids have received. They will already be advanced for their K class and have 8 more months of learning before they go. You can not go wrong with LP, it is a great school and prepares kids for what comes next!”

“I'm so grateful we found Pasitos! We wanted a bilingual preschool that would help us foster Spanish in our toddler. We speak Spanish at home but it was so important for us that he speaks at preschool as well. We love that they practice positive discipline at school and they give an annual workshop for parents on positive discipline. My son loves going to Pasitos and ever since we started attending I noticed his vocabulary continues to increase. We struggled before Pasitos to get him to use his words. All the teachers at Pasitos and staff are extremely passionate, patient, creative, and speak fluent Spanish. They do numerous activities, but love the cultural activities like learning about the different continents of Africa, Asia, Antarctica, etc. Storytime by the parents who volunteer, field trips to the discovery museum, etc.Thank you Pasitos!”

“My son and I are nearing the end of our initial term in a two-day class, and we are looking forward to the upcoming three-day program! Participating in Sunnymont-Westside has been one of the most empowering experiences, and I have noticed the positive effect it has had on my child's growth in a few months.As a first-time parent and secondary language speaker of English, I was a bit nervous about sending my kid to school. However, the supportive and welcoming atmosphere at Sunnymont-Westside has made the transition far smoother. Watching my child learn alongside other children, experienced teachers, and warm-hearted parents has been incredible.What's noteworthy is the support I received from the other parents. “We have been with child kingdom for over 7 years now. Jaime and Yelena are beyond amazing!!! They have worked with my son when no one elese wanted to. I truly appreciate how they have taken the time to try so many things with him to figure out what would work for him. My son has adhd and Asd. “This is my daughter's second year at San Jose Parents and we love it! My daughter is extremely nervous in new places with new people and she has really attached to the teachers and parents here. It's really cheap (only $150-$450 per month, depending on your class) because parents volunteer in the classroom one day per week, so they don't actually have any paid staff except for the teachers. They have a huge sandpond (with water faucets!), big play structure, and tons of messy play crafts and science experiments. I highly recommend sending your child here!”

“The material taught here is done so in a very structured and engaging way to stimulate our children while they think it's just play time. I've had 2 of my children spend years here before entering grade school where it was made clear that they were more advanced than the other students. I credit this result largely to Ms. Sara who puts her heart and soul into being there for our kids during the day when we're not able to.As parents, we prioritize the safety of our children and the quality of their environment. I can say with the utmost confidence that Ms. Sara provided that and more for my two little ones. My kids are now in grade school and still ask about visiting B2B. Ms. Sara couldn't be more of a blessing to us here in San Jose.”
