I stop by Peacock beads to get a necklace fixed. They were very helpful and fast and inexpensive... Would definitely go again.

I was so happy to discover Peacock Beads (the reincarnation of The Bead Store, formerly on De La Guerra St), now owned by a mother-daughter team. The store is absolutely beautiful, welcoming, and fully-stocked with an abundant array of beads, crystals, gorgeous hand-made jewelry, and supplies. I took in a precious abalone necklace that needed restringing and some repair. They did the fix for a very reasonable price, and really took the time to understand what I wanted. If you are a bead lover, or just like unique, atmospheric, and locally-owned boutiques, be sure to visit them on Cota St.

I am a beader and while driving through Santa Barbara, I stopped here (beading is a hobby). We really need to support stores in out communities. The atmosphere was ver very inviting, the shop keeper helpful & kind and there were some really unique items. Thanks for the experience Peacock; I wish you the best and give you 5 stars!

New owners are fantastic. The shop is packed with beautiful beads, findings, and jewelry. Hard to find the first time, but worth it.

Just found a great new bead store-Peacock Beads! Mother & daughter Chris and Lindsy are the new owners of Beads in a new, easier to park at location. They are friendly and creative. Inviting atmosphere and they seem to have everything you need! Hard to find the first time, but worth it!

I had never gone to this store before, but it was such a wonder choice! We picked out some beads and she set up a table with some tools near the couch, so we could craft our pieces. She put on some music and it was so relaxing! Once we finished she packaged our pieces and gave us adorable bags to hold our jewelry. Great place to hangout and craft! We also forgot our sunglasses there, and when we called she said she would stay later, so we could come by to pick them up. It was very kind. I would highly recommend:)

I always have a wonderful experience shopping in this gem of a bead store. The staff are super- friendly and will help you create your jewelry project in the store. I also purchased a Kyanite crystal for a gift and they wrapped it beautifully for me.Lovely People! Great Store!!

Barbara and Andy are so knowledgeable and super helpful and friendly. ?I needed something really special and they helped me pick just the right beads and findings. This is not the cheap stuff you find at Michael’s, and I’m really pleased with the jewelry I’ve made with their help. I LOVE this place! They will even gift wrap your purchase for free! Barbara and Andy are really nice people and travelled around the world to find the best quality and most beautiful beads. Great selection, very helpful, because I'm not a pro at this. They even gift wrapped a special gift for free! You really have to see their wares. No fake junk. No plastic fakes. I can spend hours marveling at their creations. You should definitely check out this shop, there's something for everyone!!
