“A lovely little shop with many options. Not only is the store beautiful and well-stocked, but the staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful.I'll be sure to come back when I travel in this area.”
“We love this place it has been around for generations of artists in my family, and it is locally owned! We are lucky in Santa Barbara that it isn’t a Michael’s store, far better quality!-sometimes they don’t answer the phone but they are wonderful.”
“I had a very quick and easy project to have completed...adding a coil and cover to 2 booklets I printed out on my own. I initially went to OfficeMax because they're normally quick, but their estimate was that I would take 5 hours (it was empty when I went, but I guess the guy in the print center was the only one there so he couldn't do it right then in case he had to help customers who walked in.). I called Tri-County and they said they could do it on the spot. I walked in, told them what I needed, and they did it then and there. Professional, quick, and affordable. And a cool building/space! Highly recommend for your next project!”
“I love Art From Scrap!!! Best creative reuse store I've ever visited for sure. Awesome space, awesome staff, and has everything you need for your crafts and then some. Big fan of Vinny the Vulture ❤️”

But after our recent experience with Distinctive Framing, we will give them ALL our future business. Our experience was totally professional and their advice was right on. The finished piece delighted us. It came out way better than we thought it could be. Their input and quality of work was terrific! Thank you!”

12 E Cota St, Santa Barbara“I was so happy to discover Peacock Beads (the reincarnation of The Bead Store, formerly on De La Guerra St), now owned by a mother-daughter team. The store is absolutely beautiful, welcoming, and fully-stocked with an abundant array of beads, crystals, gorgeous hand-made jewelry, and supplies. I took in a precious abalone necklace that needed restringing and some repair. They did the fix for a very reasonable price, and really took the time to understand what I wanted. If you are a bead lover, or just like unique, atmospheric, and locally-owned boutiques, be sure to visit them on Cota St.”

It's employees like her that make customers want to come back. Hopefully more of her generation will take notes on how employees should treat customers.”
“This place has the best classes and staff! I’ve been back a few times and every time I go I have so much. They also have a great selection of fabrics and other good things to pick up for home projects. Whether making fans, candles or anything your heart desires you’re sure to have fun and leave with something amazing after visiting The Crafter’s Library!”
