“The Leaning Wall of Mission Viejo Known for exceptional window cleaning, Five Star Window Detailing ( is occasionally called on by our clients to help with emergency situations. Imagine waking up to your masonry dividing wall leaning precariously into your neighbor's yard. Call your contractor and spend $20,000 to have it replaced? Or, look for other possible solutions? Utilizing a proven method of wall stabilization found in historic masonry and brick buildings, Jessica and her Team were able to keep the wall from falling over and began the gradual process of straightening. Although not an immediate fix, the wall will be brought back to it's original position for a fraction of the cost in a short period of time. Using turnbuckles, shackles and cables to connect earth anchors to the masonry stars, the wall is gradually pulled back into position inch by inch. This process allows the ground underneath to conform and support the structure without destroying the wall. Once the goal has been achieved and the wall is straight, the earth anchors will be repositioned closer to the wall as a permanent brace to prevent this from occurring again. The owners even like the look so much they intend to incorporate it as a garden feature. “Extraordinary!One word to describe Jose at American breakers! Our main circuit breaker went out on a Saturday , called an electrician, who said he couldn’t get the part until late Monday, which means a whole weekend with no power. We tried to locate the part ourselves with no luck until we got a phone call back from Jose add American breakers on Sunday, telling us that he was out of town, but that he would meet us at the shop at 7 PM. At 7 PM on the dot he called and was at the shop with our part. By 830 we had power!We are so grateful, to Jose, who went way above, and beyond what would be expected! We came in with a list of questions and everyone from the young lady at the register to the two gentleman behind the counter were impressionable. Kind, knowledgeable and we didn't feel rushed.
