“Finally, a paint store that cares about their customers. For years I have been getting poor service and product from the paint departments in big-box stores. The other day I was referred to Orange Paint Store, and I'm glad I found this place. First, they ask what your project is so you can get the right paint for the job. I had several questions that were answered with knowledge that you don't find elsewhere. This is a family business, and they take care and time to make sure everything is correct. My recent visit to The Home Depot on Katella Ave in Orange, CA, was mostly great, although it had one notable low point. Let's break it down, shall we?My mission for the day was simple - just a couple of boxes and some tape for an upcoming move. Of course, as with any trip to Home Depot, I found myself wandering around the store; you never know when inspiration might strike for a new DIY project, right?While navigating the store, I had the pleasure of meeting Anna in the kitchen area, who kindly pointed me in the right direction when I was looking for the restroom. Staff like Anna are what make shopping experiences truly enjoyable - it's not just about buying products, but the interaction and the community feel that really matter.Now, the one unfortunate aspect of my visit was the state of the bathroom. It was, to put it mildly, not up to par. I had to walk right back out, which wasn't a pleasant surprise.To sum it all up, The Home Depot on Katella Ave is a great place to shop for all your DIY and home improvement needs. It's brimming with potential project ideas and great staff like Anna. However, the cleanliness of the restroom could definitely use some attention. For this reason, I'm giving this Home Depot location a solid 4 stars - a little polishing and it could easily reach that 5-star standard. Keep up the great work, and let's clean up those bathrooms! “I've been dealing with Cameron Welding for the past 40 years, but after a few less-than-perfect dealings with them, I needed to find a new welding supply store. Today I had the pleasure of purchasing tig torch collets, a leather helmet bib, a bottle of argon, and a few grinding discs from the Airgas location in Orange. The gentleman that assisted me was really helpful and wasted no time in filling my order and swapping my empty argon bottle for a full. No issues, great service, super polite, honestly, the kid bent over backwards to make my shopping experience fast, efficient, and also cost effective! I couldn't ask for more and these guys will have my business from here on. He also recommended this amazing coffee roasting company located within the same complex, so not only did we get our argon, but also a nice dose of caffeine too. Woot! Thanks, Airgas for a great experience!”

“The gentleman I have dealt with on a few occassion as a DIY was friendly and knowledgeable of his inventory. I hope the business is doing well. It's really nice to be able to go to a local shop and get something like a bearing. I sold automotive parts and their related products (like bearings and seals) for 15 years and enjoyed being the one place people knew they could go to and get everything they need, including advice on their task at hand. When you're the best at your game you get to solve people's problems even though they had given up hope. You can achieve "savior" status and be respected in your community. I saved hundreds of families who needed to fix their car in order to go to work. When someone needs to go to work and their family's well being relies on the income you can bet they're pretty desperate and often angry. Providing them with the means to get their car up and going can be deeply gratifying. Or helping professional dragster teams who had an unexpected mishap during the big race and need a (*part name*, for instance: "left throttle rod linkage clip") in order to run the next race and you have it for them will make you a hero in their minds and they remember you ?. Helping people like that is very satisfying and I am sure the people at OC Bearing have many such stories to tell. With a name like Orange County Bearing I easily remember them when the time comes I absolutely need that bearing ASAP! (Plus they're only 15 minutes from my house.)”

“I don't give out many 5 stars, but i received the best customer service from Daniel, i has to write a review. I've been searching for a shower kit for my remodel for WEEKS. I'm holding up the work because contractor is waiting for the shower valve. Finally, I decided to go to someone who could take my specifications, and find the system for me. I walked in and Daniel was at the counter. He patiently looked up every feature I wanted and put together a system i was looking for AND made sure I had all of the pieces required for assembly. I was so happy when I left.”

“Make use of their curbside pickup if you can. Like most homeowners, we have been to Home Depot many, many times, sometimes to pick up a specific item, but other times to just browse for inspiration. As I've gotten older, it has become less interesting to me (mainly as I've found that I'm just not as good as contractors who can do it faster and with a far greater professional finish). But as we start on a reno for our bathrooms, we've made great use of their website and mobile app to browse, choose, and pay for bathroom fixtures. For the things that are located further away and could be transported without a truck, we have been picking them via our car. One of those things is a medicine cabinet with lighted mirror, which my wife ordered through the mobile app. It showed that the closest one for quickest pickup was in Orange, which is why we drove down here on a Friday afternoon. Just like a Chili's, there are numerically marked parking spots near the handicapped spots in the parking lot. My wife had let this Depot know that we were coming, and once we arrived, we typed in the parking spot number that were at. Sure enough, in under 5 minutes, Nathan showed up with the packaged mirror and helped me put it in our hatchback. My wife showed him her ID, and that was it. We were on our way. Great experience, for no additional charge.”
