“We bought our first King Dux bed from Barbara about ten or twelve years ago and we were so happy with it that we bought a second one, a CA King, when we moved to the East Bay. When I purchased a large bed frame, we were able to fit the Duxiana King into it with a bit of help from our contractor. But I noticed that the Dux bed didn't feel quite the same. I went to the store several times and we worked out a pattern for the components and I bought a new topper because I had not rotated mine (oops) like I was suppose to. I was still feeling like something felt odd with the King Bed, so today, Barbara came over to my house and we stripped both of the beds and I realized that at some point, my pascals (components) had been reversed. Because of the brilliant way these beds are designed she was able to check the springs and other parts of both beds and made certain that everything was working properly. This is great Customer Service! They have always been really nice at the San Rafael store, but this was above and beyond. Thank you Barbara. I would rate them 10 stars if I could.”

“My fiancé and I LOVED visiting the store in San Rafael! We live in SF and frequently look online, but this was the first time we visited a store in-person. I was like a kid in a candy shop - it was beautiful and so well designed! I want to give a special shoutout to Cedric for going above and beyond! He gave us a proper tour of the store, provided excellent advice for designing our new apartment, and helped us purchase two more kitchen chairs that matched our other Scandinavian Designs chairs at home. Once they arrived during the week, he really went out of his way to help us accept delivery. Cedric is the best - he made our trip so memorable and because of him, we will keep coming back! “I was long overdue for a new mattress, so went to Mary's because of it's reputation for honest dealing and fair prices. I met with Leslie there, and she guided me through the choice of a new mattress (not futon, which I was considering). It's been almost a month and I couldn't be happier with the mattress. Which, after some later looking, cost about 1/5 what many queen mattresses are selling for.”
