“We bought our first King Dux bed from Barbara about ten or twelve years ago and we were so happy with it that we bought a second one, a CA King, when we moved to the East Bay. When I purchased a large bed frame, we were able to fit the Duxiana King into it with a bit of help from our contractor. But I noticed that the Dux bed didn't feel quite the same. I went to the store several times and we worked out a pattern for the components and I bought a new topper because I had not rotated mine (oops) like I was suppose to. I was still feeling like something felt odd with the King Bed, so today, Barbara came over to my house and we stripped both of the beds and I realized that at some point, my pascals (components) had been reversed. Because of the brilliant way these beds are designed she was able to check the springs and other parts of both beds and made certain that everything was working properly. This is great Customer Service! They have always been really nice at the San Rafael store, but this was above and beyond. Thank you Barbara. I would rate them 10 stars if I could.”

I met with Leslie there, and she guided me through the choice of a new mattress (not futon, which I was considering). It's been almost a month and I couldn't be happier with the mattress. Which, after some later looking, cost about 1/5 what many queen mattresses are selling for.”

“These mattresses are wonderful. Mine is working great after 12 years. I replaced the latex layer on top of the springs this month for the first time. The bed is like new! Although they are expensive up front, they are worth the money. They last a long time and don't off gas horrible smells. You can smell a slight smell of latex when the bed is new. Go to the showroom if you are curious about that smell. They are very customizable, so you can have the perfect bed after trying them out in the showroom. My parents have one where they have different levels of firmness on each side. They have replaced their latex too, one time in the last 14 years. The owner is friendly and helpful. I called him and ordered replacement latex. Delivery was excellent. Fast, exactly when they said they would come, and they had it to Sonoma county within a week of me ordering the new latex. These mattresses are fat friendly. I'm not a small person, and mine went a long time before the latex developed a significant low spot where I sleep. Replacing the latex solved the problem. There is not a dip in the springs, so the next latex makes it feel like a new bed. I'm looking forward to good sleep for years.”
