Dr. Arman has been an incredible help with Peanuts’ allergies. We've struggled for years to find a solution, and Dr. Arman has finally given us relief! “I had a minor concern for my dog, a large rash and hitching/scratching. The receptionist could not book an appointment when I visited the hospital, but she gave me advice and I was able to book an appointment the next day once they were done with their triage for the day. The doctor addressed both the current concern for my dog but also discussed his health in general and his current medications since he is an older dog with a heart murmur. The staff is attentive, proactive and kind.”

“I adopted my first Pet (Harper the cat) since April 5 2023, from an overcrowded shelter (yes she almost got euthanized). After more than a year, I finally brought her to do some checkup and vaccinations, and my friend recommended Alta Vista Veterinary Clinic. My whole experience in this place has been great. They let me know in advance what need to be done, how much it cost, why it needs to be done, etc. After the treatment, my cat looks and acts even better than before, and it also gives me a great peace of mind that my pet's health is in good hands.
I will come back again (at least once a year for a checkup, or anytime when my little Harper needs medical assistance).
Overall, this is a 5/5 experience.”
“This is a great place. I've been bringing my dogs here for over 10years and they are very informative and their customer service is amazing! They remember all my dogs names and greet them everytime as soon we walk in the door. They even give a free nail trimming when you bring your pet in for a check-up. I highly recommend this place for your pet, they will give your pet the proper care and respect they deserve!”

“It's Dr. Barrett. I wish we would have met him a long time ago. Trixie had some issues with her teeth and found Canyon. As with any veterinarian clinic, it costs extra for "emergency" visits. Thankfully we were not in that mode. We made a 1st time appointment brought her in and the teeth were cleaned and a tooth was removed. Dr. Barrett explained the whole thing up front. No B.S. and a very nice "bedside manners". Thank you Dr. Barrett again for our 3rd visit just to pick up meds for 4th of July anxiety. My dogs do not like fireworks. They shake, require holding and comforting for several hours while the population attempts to light off every firework that came off off the largest container ships that came into the Port. After the meds, Lola's stress reduced by 97% while Trixie was at least 90% until our neighbors started launching mortars in the street out front, bringing the experience to a whole new level. We didn't call em, but somebody did. And the show ended prematurely, and that was ok with us. We adopted Lola a few months ago. She going to get a cleaning soon. Dr. Barrett did a super job on Trixe, and after 3 visits (it actually only took one) if someone asks me where to go? Easy, Canyon Veterinarian Hospital!”

“Following up on a recommendation of Creature Comfort by my neighbor was the best thing for the health and well being of my cats. This practice stands above all others in expertise and integrity. When my cats get seen for their annuals, I am amazed by the amount of time devoted by the doctor to discuss and address any issues. Doctors and nurses follow up after treatments. It's so easy to get an appointment. If my cat has an issue, they often help me resolve it via email or an appointment in very reasonable time. They are totally on top of prescription requests and let me get them filled wherever works best for me. I definitely see the holistic improvement in my cats' health since coming here. I really can't say enough about Creature Comfort and I recommend them with absolute confidence!”
“I had a problem with my cat. In the morning I saw him limping. I called my regular vet they could see him for 3 weeks. I called another vet they couldn't see me for a month. They both said go to emergency vet well that would be 300.00 just to walk in. Boulevard vet took me at 3pm that day they took care of him. He's all better now after a few days. So when I was there I made appt for my other cat. For shots. Great friendly people. This will be my regular vet now.”

“I got my dog spayed here recently and was incredibly impressed by how well run this place was. They communicated all the instructions very clearly ahead of time, so I knew exactly what to expect. The surgery went perfectly, my dog recovered very quickly and needed no follow-ups. You don’t get any personalized care, but that’s to be expected. I was hesitant to use a clinic for this procedure, but was pleasantly surprised by the facility and the staff. I’d definitely recommend to anyone looking for a more affordable way to spay/neuter their pet. Thank you so much!”

“Dr. Dorsey and Dr. Hart are the nicest, kindest, most professional veterinarians. They have nursed and helped me through four cats. I love their office staff. They try to get appointments for any of my fur babies, and when one of them passed away, the office gave a donation to a cat illness research. I can't say enough about how much I appreciate all their service and care for my pets. They are so reassuring and when the time comes for… Again, they are empathetic and sympathetic.”

“I came in for my elderly dwarf hamster who was unfortunately nearing his end days and in a lot of pain. I was recommended this clinic and am very grateful to have been. I had to make the painful, but right decision of euthanasia for my little friend. It was a very very hard day, but during the whole process, the staff and doctor that i saw were all so gentle in handling my little one. Regardless of his little size, i could see the love for animals everyone in there had, and it made everything so comfortable. I want to thank this clinic for everything they did for me and my russell! Even gifted me with a small book with his paw imprints. <3”

“My dog got euthanized in this clinic. The vet and the staff are very kind and empathetic. They helped us with the process and gave us time for our family to stay with our dog for the very last time. They gave us hair clippings of our dog and even placed it in small bottles that can be used as key chains. They also help us arrange for the cremation and urn. Within a week, we received our beloved dog's cremains. Shout out to Dr. Singer and Kai for giving such an exceptional care and support for our family and our beloved dog!”
“I recently discovered Groveway Pet Hospital, and I'm grateful that I did. My initial visit was to have my male Standard Poodle euthanized, and Dr. Powell and Erica spoiled and pampered him, helping him gracefully and peacefully leave. Throughout the experience, I was treated with compassion and understanding. My second visit was with my 6-month-old Standard Poodle puppy, who needed immediate care. Dr. Powell and Erica, again, to the rescue! The Clinic's drop-off option worked beautifully for them to see her, diagnose her condition, and initiate treatment. My puppy made a mess of their floors on the way in, and everyone was extremely gracious about not only mopping up after her, but also giving her a cleaning. Dr. Powell called, thoroughly discussed the problem and provided clear steps on what to do for my puppy to heal. The team was extremely efficient, kind, and conscientious. I can tell you that my puppy, who'd only been to this clinic with the euthanizing of the other dog, ran straight for the front door, so this team is also Standard Poodle approved!”

Although I don’t currently have a pet due to my living situation, I had the opportunity to bring my cousin’s dogs, Loki and Putin, to this hospital a while back. The staff here took exceptional care of them, treating them as if they were their own pets.
The attention and compassion they showed were remarkable. Thanks to their excellent care, Loki and Putin are now thriving and living their best lives in Texas.
If you have animals and are looking for a trustworthy, compassionate place to take them, I highly recommend San Lorenzo Veterinary Hospital. The people here are incredibly kind and understanding. I would not hesitate to bring my own pet here if I ever decide to get one.
