The lobby was clean and the popcorn was fresh and delicious. I went into the Theater and was surprised they had upgraded the seats since I was last there, they were very comfortable and that area was very clean as well!! Great job Bayfair Cinemark!!”

522 7th St, Oakland“Exceeded my expectation my miles. The rooms and puzzles are very high quality and really well thought out. The staff is super friendly and supportive. I took my 11 year old son and his friend—they loved it and wanted to do another room right away.”

2566 Telegraph Ave STE D, Berkeley“This place is so much fun!!!We had the chance to have the place to ourselves and it was epic. First time ace throwing and the staff were so nice and helpful. We got a detailed explanation of how to throw the different axes and then just went for it. More tiring than I expected and an hour of throwing was just the right amount of time we needed.”
“I attend VIVE Church here on Sunday @ 9am and 11:30am. I've only visited twice but the seems to be an awesome Bible teaching contemporary christian church. (Ages 20-45 seems to be the bulk of the demographic) This is worth a look.”

1414 Park St, Alameda“This quaint little place is a fantastic way to spend an afternoon. It’s a straight throwback to my childhood with dozens of retro games that I haven’t seen since the 80’s. If you are going to go make sure to bring a friend or parent who loves retro games because you will blow their minds and will absolutely make their day.”
“Lots of different themed toy sections for kids to play. Not a huge space but enough to play in each themed section. Workers were nice and they regularly made the rounds to put toys back into their themed section so toys won't be missing for it (ie doctor toys for the doctor office area)Great add to the Castro Valley community”
“Wedgwood just hosted our son’s wedding at the Moraga location. Location was beautiful, clean and maintained properly. Food was delicious and the staff was courteous and attentive.
Wedding coordinator Sarah was always available for our last minute concerns and took appropriate action. She kept everything running smoothly.”
“Hosted our sons birthday party here . The venue food and staff were amazing they helped us and catered to our needs. Our guests really gave a huge compliment for the Venue and food”

17007 Redwood Rd, Castro Valley“I was a wedding content creator @girlypopbride at this wedding venue and it is beautiful! The ceremony space is like a secret garden and has one of the best layouts for the bridal entrance. The reception space is also really nice, especially with the draping added. There are lots of nature photo ops around the venue since it is at a golf club. I hope to be back here to shoot another wedding!”
“My family and I had my father’s celebration of life ceremony at the Phoenix last week. We are extremely happy with how everything went. The Phoenix staff was super helpful with all of the planning. I worked closely with Ms. Saskia Winter, the founder. We exchanged many emails and she was always responsive and answering all of my questions, which helped a lot. I also visited the venue twice. The staff, (Julie, Artie, and Lakisha) on the day of the event was also super helpful. Things went smooth once the event started. The space was intimate which made it easy for people to connect and mingle. We had food set up and a few decorations. I’m happy we decided to use the Phoenix to remember and honor my father. I highly recommend hosting an event there. You will not be disappointed.”
“I rented the Opal room at Temescal Works for an in-person work session with a colleague who lives across the Bay. The location was convenient, the building had a good vibe and we had everything we needed for a productive meeting. I'm glad to have such a good option available for my business and I'd be comfortable bringing clients there as well.”
“I'd say just know what you pay for. It's right next to Oakland Airport so.. lots of planes flying during ceremony. Also they don't shut down the golf course. So just be prepared to have golfers surround you haha. Otherwise it is so beautiful. Food was great and bartender was amazing.”
“The wife and I celebrated our 20th anniversary and renewed our vows with the help of Amanda and her team at the Overlook! The event was beautiful and amazing! We utilized the garden space and pond then transitioned our guest to the covered patio area thereafter. It was a beautiful July afternoon and photos we absolutely gorgeous given the stunning layout! The celebration was stress free for us, as Amanda and her team seamlessly coordinated with the vendors ensuring our ability to enjoy our guests and the celebration! We highly recommend you explore this venue and ask for Amanda Scimia, she’ll take great care of you!”

I followed the sound of the live DJ and was pleased to find it was coming from a place I get food from a bit regularly.Chef Alreca's food is delicious! Thank you for the environment and the food and thank you to Forage for hosting this wonderful Chef. Will be following more of her.”

2315 Durant Ave, Berkeley“Grand old building. Great breakfast, nice variety of tea available 24/7. Surprisingly quiet. Wide variety of rooms to work from or otherwise use (found a library area which I had all to myself after checking out on my final day before heading to airport). Short walk from the downtown BART. That the water pressure in the shower was a little low is my only (very minor) complaint.”

1014 Fruitvale Ave, Oakland“Came Here Looking For "Padrón Gril" A Vegan Spot I Saw On TikTok. Turns Out It Was A Vendor Working With Korner Kitchen At The Time. However, Korner Kitchen Is Legit! Menu Is Small But The Options Seem Delicious! To Order Food You Walk Up To The Bar Straight In The Middle Of The Patio & You Get A Chance To Look At Their Menu Or Whatever Vendor They Are Working With At The Moment. I Spoke With Who Im Thinking Is The Owner. Didn't Get His Name But Guy Was Very Friendly, Professional & If You Need Any Food Recommendations From The Menus He Got You! He Recommended I Get Their "Noodle Belly $20. Not Too Expensive As Long As The Flavors There. Comes With Garlic Noodles Your Choice Of Protein & A Vegetable. I Ordered The Broccolini With Shrimp! Belive Me Flavors Were Definitely There! The Patio Has Three Large Screen TVs So You Can Eat And Wacth Whatever Is Happening At The Time. Today They Had The UFC Fight And Summer Slam! Nice. Would I Come Here Again. Sure, But With Friends! The Vibes Are Nice Here & Service Is On Point!”
“This venue was perfect for what we wanted! We wanted a small wedding of 50 guests and I was looking for a place with some scenery and not just a boring hall that needed a lot to look beautiful. We were on a small budget so we also needed something at a reasonable price. This place hit all that and more. All of our guests loved the venue and it helped that it was a beautiful sunny day. The garden area made for a beautiful backdrop for the ceremony and great for photos. The lake was beautiful with all the ducks swimming around. I loved everything about this venue and definitely recommend it if you are having a small wedding.”
“Accessible entry & clean building! Absolutely beautiful piece of Oakland history kept alive & functional. Used as office space & professional events.”
“We had our 48th Encinal HS Reunion last night here and can't say enough about this event space. The all volunteer staff was fabulous to work with and accommodated our every need. Thanks to them our reunion was a success!”
“Rented the top floor for a Holiday party. It was a great area with a stage and a manned separate bar from the main room. Recommend renting this space for any event.”
“We had my parents celebration of life service there at Eagles Hall and it was AMAZING !!! Although it was a gloomy and emotional day the staff at Eagles Hall was exceptional !!! they took care of all our needs . A special shout out to Ernie and i believe her name was Donna ( the bar tenders ) for making it a smooth day. and also Judi Tansey. THANK GUYS ! I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND USING EAGLES HALL. ??”
“Edit 1012/23: idk what's going on with the preorders ?.. there's no point to it if they don't have them ready on time, they just prep it for you on the spot & the other line goes by faster. Even when there's hardly anyone at the theater, still have to wait.Great customer service from the young guy at the preorder section!”
“The quality and variety of what these guys do is amazing. The space itself is modern and comfortable. The staff are very friendly, knowledgeable, and approachable. But the stars of the show are, of course, the wines. There are some familiar varietals, interesting blends, and the occasional "I'm sorry, how is that pronounced again?" newfound gems too. Highly recommend for anyone who can visit regardless of where they are on their wine appreciation journey.”
“Beautiful venue. Staff was excellent and the layout is great for midsized get together‘s weddings etc. large Trees provide ample shade for daytime events and the string of lights at night is magical”
“Edit: Opportunities for sliding scale and time trade are now being offered for events! Ask your event coordinator to be sure as it's still dependent on each event to adopt this offering.----------Decent venue structurally: sound is good and floors are nice. Yet for a community space in OAKLAND the prices aren't very reflective of the capitalized oppression of those less privileged in the surrounding neighborhood. I have asked multiple times about sliding scales, or pricing options for those less monetarily advantaged. There has been no response or apparent consideration of these marginalized people who need community and a space much more than anyone who currently "supports" the space with fiat currency. ?I hope this may spark a review of the monetary practices employed and culminate in more choices to allow everyone the opportunity to participate.”
“We had my brother in laws birthday party there it was awesome. The food was great and the atmosphere was really nice. The staff was fantastic and the birthday party was a huge success and everyone had a great time!”
“Attended the Edgar Allan Poe Speakeasy event this past weekend and thought the venue worked perfectly for this theatrical experience. Though the outside does not look like much, the inside of the ballroom is characterized by ornate patterns on the walls and around the stage, and unique light fixtures hanging from the ceiling. Not a whole lot to be impressed by, as it still looks quite plain and simple overall, sort of like an ordinary conference room. But I guess that's what makes Oakstop special, that it's multi-use. It was fitting for the event I attended, and they set up the seating, decor and lighting just fine. It wouldn't be my first choice for a wedding or other celebratory event though.”
“Old style resort with big lobby, friendly attended front desk, and an excellent morning buffet included. Parking $18 per day. Excellent seafood restaurant adjacent. Golf course across street. Hotel literally at the marina on San Francisco bay. Public beach access steps away. Rooms dated. Comfortable beds. Bathrooms updated.”
