“Recently, I decided to freshen up my living room walls, which had become depressingly dingy. I knew I wanted some shade of white, and I knew I wanted Benjamin Moore. First I visited a San Leandro hardware store that carries that brand. The acknowledgement I got from the proprietor felt rather abrupt (although it was better than none at all). I was hoping to check out a full palette of whites, but they only had a single shade of that color, a gallon of which he thrust into my hands. "Do you know what shade this is?" The answer: "White." That can mean many things. I didn't buy there.Next I went to Creative Paint on Davis Street. I was greeted warmly and was directed to the wall containing a wide variety of sample colors, including many shades of white. I chose Swiss Coffee. The clerk mixed it up while I waited and gave me no fewer than three mixing sticks at checkout. He was genuinely friendly, and I'm so pleased with the paint--you really can't beat Benjamin Moore for quality. Look no further than this place when you need supplies for your own painting projects.”
“Repaired my wife's 2018 Mercedes rear bumper scratches. They set me up with the products I needed and thorough instructions for application. The color and gloss of the Polar White was on spot. Counter help was cordial and knowledgeable.”
“I love ace hardware stores even more than lowes... home depot may be cheaper but they suck if youre looking for a specific type of bolt or something...say a reverse threaded bolt... youll NEVER find that at home depot..”
