“The service here is outstanding, the employees are always willing to answer questions, and seem like genuinely good people. Hardware stores seem to be places where anxious folks show up with problems, and are looking for solutions in terms of help, experience, or simply the right tool. This is the one place in the Santa Clara valley where I've never been steered wrong, and with the rockery, nursery and a full slate of tools/supplies - I can always find what I need. Other businesses should take a lesson from them on how to handle even the most befuddled, or anxiety-riddled customer with grace. Great store, and I hope they don't change.”

“If you are looking for a tree nursery with a diverse selection of LARGE trees, look no further. This is a non profit business, so your purchase is actually a donation. I actually have been trying to come here for some time 1) LOCATION: This place is located right near the airport. So you have trees flying over you which is somewhat of a nuisance if you are trying to talk to someone and are hard of hearing! The trees are nicely organized and you can even down load the availability sheet before you come. They update the sheet pretty often, so you get a good idea of what's available before you go. 2) TREES & PRICE: Quality: Hands down quality for the price. Everything looked pretty healthy. I didn't see any diseased trees, and there were no dry or dead/ weeping trees. They are organized and there are so many!! Usually when you go to a nursery, you tend to see a lot of plants and just a handful of trees. Not only are there a ton of trees (see the list), they are massive compared to trees in other nursery's. Price: WOW!! Such great prices. They ask for a donation of 80-100 per tree, which is a lot less than some of the other nursery trees we have picked up. Typically you pay anywhere between $170-350 for a tree similar to the on ones in the tree lot. Not only are they great prices the trees are around 9' tall for some of the bigger ones. Same price. The only bummer is that it is only open to the public Thur-Friday, between 8-12. It makes it hard to get in there with such a small window.”

“I find their customer service to be helpful, knowledgeable, and polite. It has a nice calm and relaxing environment and I always find someone to help me. They also have two sweet cats to find and pet. It's my go to spot and I love that it is a locally owned small business.”

“Evergreen Supply is the place to come for all tour landscaping needs. They offer a good selection of materials to choose from. Customer service is great with all the helpful and friendly employees to help you out. Pricing is fair for material needed for your projects.”

“Parking is on the side of the road in front of nursery because they have too many trees. My mom bought a few really nice fruit trees from this place. They have dwarf, semi dwarf, full trees, and also carry various grafted trees as well. My mom was happy with their informative customer service and being patient with her final selections. She was extremely happy and said she would definitely be back, which means I will also be back when we are in town. Until next time, thank you.”

“Stopped by to get a gift for my friend's grand opening party of her new business. The space is kind of cramped but lots of options here - bamboos, orchids, money trees. They even had heart shaped bamboos! Lots of pot options. The money trees were either really big or really small at the time I went since they were sold out of others. I opted for a bamboo bundle which cost me $30 total for the bamboo and the pot. I think that's not bad. My friend loved it and when I came by her salon a couple weeks later, it looked great in her space. Still green and alive. Service was friendly. I took a while to decide what I wanted but the salesman was patient and helpful. I paid in cash. Saw the other lady who purchased a giant orchid pot also paid in cash, so I'm not sure if they accept card.”

“Went into the store yesterday for a new back door and Brandon was very helping explaining the differences in various doors and safety requirements. He helped us until we made our decision. Nice guy, knew his stuff. Was encouraging to see sales people genuinely wanting to help. Doesn't happen often enough unfortunately.”

“I'm actually surprised at some of the reviews. We showed up at 2:30 on a Saturday knowing that they close to 3:00. We were basically there to browse and possibly see if there were any good plant candidates to be a future bonsai. But while we were there we decided to look around.First of all this is tucked away between Leigh and Southwest expressway. I believe you can access it from Southwest expressway if you know where you're going, but we came in through the neighborhood. Which is kind of funny because nestled between these townhomes, condos, and apartments there is this rather large wholesale nursery. That apparently has been around longer than I have. I was surprised to see how many trees, shrubs, and flowers they had available! I even took pictures because it was just a nice place to wander around. Within the first 5 minutes of us arriving someone came up and asked if we needed any help. We politely said we were just browsing but would find them if we needed them. The prices seemed about right for what we were looking at. Maybe not wholesale prices but they weren't overly expensive either. Unfortunately we did not find a good bonsai candidate but that was not the nursery fault. My husband was looking for something very specific. I'm glad we went and if we are in the area again and need something, we would probably go back.”

“Hello, I am Shahlla, a Home Depot Designer at the Hillsdale San Jose store. As a Designer, I am also a current (Home Depot sponsored) member of the National Kitchen and Bath Association. My work background is in technology Program Management. I very much enjoy being a Home Depot Designer especially at this particular store. We have worked hard to make our store's Design department number one in sales and satisfaction in the South Bay region. Please don't hesitate to reach out to me for remodeling or resurfacing design consultations. I would be more than happy to work with our Silicon Valley community.”

“This store is hidden behind a Best Buy. It’s easy to miss the almost secret entrance as the front of the building is only visible at the freeway but not the street. Came in for an iron and came out with an iron and countertop ironing board. I was in and out. Options were not much but I can always depend on this store for essentials.”

“This Home Depot is different then the others I have been to. The staff is really cold. When you ask them a question they just don't make you feel like they are as caring. There is something really different about them. I have bought several different types of items from this store but I don't ever feel very comfortable with the people.”

“I stopped off here on the way back home from a hike to pick up some batteries and some other stuff. They were very busy on a Saturday afternoon. I was not expecting it but the staff was super friendly and helpful...the two people who helped me find what I was looking for and the nice lady at the checkout. Well done team, keep it up!”

“I recently bought shelves, a protective cover, and a ladder from Harbor Freight Tools, and I'm really happy with them. The prices were excellent and the quality was better than I had anticipated. These items are crucial as I get ready to renovate my bathroom, and I like how dependable they are. Strongly recommended!”

I honestly enjoy every trip at this location because they are really good with their customers and ask you if you need help with anything! From looking for something to even checking out and making sure you found what you needed and you had a great experience! Most stores aren't like this so huge plus to Homedepot!”

“Wonderful employees pretty much all the time. With all the local government allowances, 5150 transients living along the creek, tight location, heavy concentration of people in general with no room, basically.....crap they have to put up with....they handle it very well. Thanks for being there so close to our East San Jose homes HD.”

“Home Depot has FREE monthly kid workshops where you can make a certain project, the first Saturday of each month. On the website, it shows what craft will be done. We arrived around 915am and it was already packed with families. We were all sitting in the front of the store, like once you walk in. You check in and receive your craft kit. I didn't know what to expect and thought the class would be guided but it made sense that it wasn't since you can arrive at anytime. The kit had clear instructions and all necessary materials. Supplies were on the table such as a hammer, wood glue, paint brushes, etc. It took us about 15 - 20 minutes to finish the project, it was a great bonding experience. I would definitely come back for another cool craft. My only complaint would be is that they had us sitting on painter buckets that were upside down, not even with the lid on, so that was pretty uncomfortable!”

“Been coming here for years. Service used to be horrible but it's definitely improved over the years. A little shortness doesn't bother me anyway. It's a hardware store, not Saks...Wish they had a better selection of plants but it's still serviceable.”

“Just visited the Home Depot in Cupertino. I couldn't find a particular item - it wasn't where the app says it would. The associate found it for me quickly, and even later did my self-checkout for me (I didn't ask - she just did it!)”
