Lucky is a neighborhood grocery store that has been serving customers for over 20 years. It is known for its friendly and knowledgeable staff, clean environment, and good selection of fresh and organic produce. The store recently underwent a remodel, making it brighter, more open, and smelling better. While once less expensive than Safeway, prices now tend to be higher, especially with the addition of Ace in part of the store, which has changed the variety of products available. Lucky offers deals on many fresh items and is appreciated for its good service. However, it closes at 11 PM during the week, not midnight as some might expect, which has caused some awkward moments for late shoppers. Despite competition from Safeway, FoodMax, Grocery Outlet, and Costco nearby, Lucky remains a solid and popular local store, valued for its friendly staff and clean, well-maintained space.
I’ve shopped at this Lucky for over 20 years. The people working there are always nice and friendly. Lucky used to be less expensive than Safeway but it doesn’t seem that way now. Ace is coming into part of the store, so variety has changed. Still a good, solid store.
