3145 Payne Ave, San Jose“Wonderful selection of products from Europe. All products organized beautifully on the racks. Dry good products like snacks, cakes, coffee, pastas, canned goods and lots of selections in the refrigerator. Lots of selection on bottled alcohol. It was so nice going down the aisles. Limited parking behind the store and parking on the street.”
“I was hesitant about what the selection would be like but it is quite nice inside. Lots of varieties of things, pastries, candies, plenty of canned goods, sausages, and other Polish/Ukrainian/Russian things. Especially a unique alcohol selection. I've been there twice and both times I have had a good customer service experience. They don't mind helping translating things or answering any questions for people that may not be as knowledgeable. And yes, there is a $10 card limit, so bring cash or purchase lots of yummy things!”
“Love their selection of frozen foods, sweets, cheeses, flowers and flowering plants, among other great products. Always helpful staff available. And always a good seasonal selection of greeting cards for $1. I miss their foid samples in the back of the store. Always a way to try new products. They only pass out samples briefly now, up front. I never seem to be shopping when they have them. Bring them back, please!”
“Great prices. Good selection of wines at bargain prices. We arrived in the evening so the store was rather messy or lacking in some items. But still a great place to get my groceries.”
“Zuka market has some of the freshest bitter balls, habaneros and smoked fish than any other African market I've visited yet! The man and his wife business a very nice people too which is always a plus. This is also one of the CLEANEST, African markets I've ever been too. I've gotta give credit were credit is due!”
“Meats, prepared foods, Italian pasta, sauce and coffees are awesome. It's not a store with everything, rather a store where everything in it is good. especially if they made it! Get the Ghirardelli brownies they make”

98 Sunol St, San Jose“I find it odd that I'm reviewing a little market, but this place is fantastic. Went here because whole foods was closed and I needed to pick up beers for a get together. Didn't expect much, but wow the craft beer selection fantastic and a super friendly owner. I love whole foods, but I probably won't be going to whole foods anymore for beers.”
“They have what you need for Polynesian food place is packed with all the island ingredients including poi that is good even though it's frozen. Love the frozen ulu too”
“Trader Joes carries some unique itens that you won't be able to find anywhere else. Sometimes they're seasonal like the chicken skewers that included some sauce with it on the side. Omg, those were incredibly tender & delicious! They should make that a permanent item! The prices for most items are reasonable too. And the employees are nice as well. My favorite items there are: The Thai cashews. They're so good! Get those or the Thai spiced almonds if you like Thai flavored food! The tamari soy flavored rice crackers & the chimchurri rice (often located at the end of the aisle). Then there's the Trader Joes garlic dip which is delicious too! The mini chicken cilantro dumplings are good too. For vegans or people who are trying to eat less meat, trt the meatless beef bulgogi in the frozen aisle. Those Indian rectangular patties are very good too. The toilet paper here is cheaper than it is at most places too. It only cost $4.99 or $5.99 for 6 or 8 rolls I think. In the bread aisle, try the crumpets. They're better than English muffins & only 90 calories a piece. The parking lot in this area is always full. It's f you park further away by Dominos pizza, you'll be able to find a parking spot easily though.”
“This is the best place to order and buy fresh masa!! We have a family tradition, every Christmas we make a massive amount of tamales. This is the ONLY place I every buy my masa, it's warm, flavorful and ready to spread on corn husks. Stop buying the grocery store masa, and try this place! You'll love it!”
8AM - 9PM
635 Coleman Ave, San Jose“After a long day of work I decided to come into this specific store since I never go here. I don't usually do my shopping on Sundays and after today I'm glad I don't!! Besides the tremendous long lines I had a pleasant if not the best experience today. My cashier I forgot his name... Arthur I believe, tall fella with a mustache and a comb over. Real nice guy asked me about my day and who would have thought him and I have so much in common (we both love riverdale). Chill dude, he had me repeating a catchphrase he kept saying on register, boinga, booga? Not sure but it made me laugh and made my day!! :)”
“i love trader joes, never met one with bad customer service. i went today and my favorite salad was out (i love the salmon sesame miso) :( though they have seasonal snacks that are a must-try :)”
“I love the prices at Sprouts. They have a great selection of foods and juices at a very reasonable prices. You may be able to tell that I really like Sprouts a lot. They are very nice here as well. I recommend Sprouts.”
“Found this hidden gem out of nowhere when driving back to my place in the peninsula. They sell fresh sandwiches! My boyfriend had the Persian spinach quiche sandwich and I took the Persian sausage and potatoes sandwich! Amazing and fresh. I'll definitely go here when I'm back down. Better than any subway or sandwich joint!?”
“Small family run business. The store is small and geared towards facilitating/serving families currently on WIC benefit but you can walk in and make a regular purchase. They help with the right amounts and types of products allowed...making the WIC purchase 100% easier. The products are fresh, and the family is always awesome and super friendly.”
“This is a different experience from other grocery stores in the area. They did have some really good prices for a few items, otherwise, it was more or less the same price as the others, Eben though they tried to fool you with "regular" price comparisons on their price tags. It is definitely worth taking a look at, and you can save a bit of money, as long as you don't do all of your shopping at just this store. If you aspire to be like the Krazy Koupon Lady, this is a good place to look for some bulk buys when they are selling nearly expired items (like cereal or other pantry items).I recommend checking it out!”
“Been to different farmer market but Love Love Santa Teresa Farmers's Market. It has great vendors with great produce and reasonable prices: from the sweetest organic strawberries, good varieties of vegetables (including some Asian vegetables ) and yummy fruits , popcorn, eggs, bread, fish, plants, succulents, cooked Thai food, ...Not all vendors are there every week though. This farmer's market is located in Kaiser Hospital so it was closed for a few years during covid. I was so sad and finally it opened again in summer 2023. Vendors and customers were so happy to find each other again like meeting old friends. It was a great reunion. I try to go and support farmers whenever I can.Highly recommend.”

“Ordered the taco tray #2 from here for football weekend. Everyone loved the tacos! They were so flavorful! The Al Pastor was my personal favorite. Placing the order online was so easy. When I came to pick it up, I was able to get groceries, some pan dulce, and other meats at the carniceria. That meat turned out delicious as well, the one I got came marinated so it was easy to cook. I really love this place. Everyone was so friendly. I will keep coming back!”
“I love this store! It's always clean and tidy. Prices are good. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Every time I shop there I feel satisfied like nowhere else. Smart & Final is an exceptional store. Highly recommend it! Thank you, owners, administration and staff!”
“Always best place to grab groceries when in a hurry. Slightly disappointed when I asked a question regarding the usage of my EBT card and what I received where mug faces from both cashier's. But still it's a great store.”
“This location is connected directly to the mall. Each aisle shines brightly to find what you need, and I mean real bright. Very neat and organized, would return back!”

1460 Old Oakland Rd A, San Jose“Been going here occasionally for years. There's a LOT of stuff in this store! It's not one of those minimalist stores, this one is crammed with stuff. Tons of different kinds of wine, beer, liquor, etc. I'm giving this store 4 stars only because (1) it's in a very rough area and I want people to know there are usually many homeless and sketchy people hanging out in the parking lot. That's not the fault of this store, but if you are going here, you should know about this ahead of time. (2) They don't have "The Bomb" microwave burrito. Those things are seriously tasty!”
“As a small grocery store in a blue collar neighborhood, it is as good as it gets. The price is indeed lower , the place is reasonablly clean, the cashiers are friendly. The choices are limited, but most basics food items are available. What else can one ask?”

“Small but excellent specialty grocery store. You can probably find everything you need and more. It’s clean and well stocked. The meat section is pretty good. Marinated meats are seasoned just right. I will be back”
