Great place to discover and learn through play, my daughter loves this preschool, it is open for parents to see what is happening in the class. Kids are able to develop their people skills and learn about their feelings besides exploring science and do arts

APPS is a wonderful co-op preschool. It is a play-based school that practices positive discipline. The community, sense of belonging and the love and kindness the teachers and parents have for their children are unparalleled. We are so lucky to be part of this amazing school and would recommend it to anyone.

About Almaden Parents' Pre-School
Almaden Parents’ Pre-school was founded in 1969 by a group of parents in south San Jose who wanted to participate in their children’s early childhood education. They formulated a philosophy that was based on sequential intellectual (cognitive) development. The parents wanted to be present with their children and witness their growth and new discoveries, and used a co-op preschool model. Together, parents and teachers would create an environment that would be happy, safe, and secure so that the children could grow physically, emotionally, socially & intellectually. APPS continues to develop the whole child through the dedication of its teachers and the active participation of parents.
