“Ordered an arrangement on valentines day morning to be delivered (yeah I'm that guy). Wound up driving to pick up order around 6PM since I was worried it wasn't going to get delivered. Staff was very kind and helpful in spite of the craziness. Quickly found my order under a valentines day avalanche of flowers and fancy fruits and sent me on my way. Wife and daughter loved it.”

“This is a beautiful shop for gifts, jewelry, home goods, and generally uplifting one’s environment. I always find way too many awesome items here. It’s my go to spot for gifts, feels intimate, and is so well curated. It also makes me happy to shop in my Eagle Rock neighborhood first!”

“Amazing selection of records and other ephemera. My boyfriend got really into Gundam recently and I was so happy to find a first pressing of an OST for the second film here. Legacy businesses like these are what makes Little Tokyo special.”

“My friends and I were walking around after having dinner at Fishwives when we came across Homage. I'm happy we decided to stop by. This is such a magical little shop to walk around and see all the neat things that they offer. They have a selection of bags, jewelry, cards, candles, books, pins and stickers, and all sorts of other lovely items. They have such impeccable taste and I have to stop myself from buying everything. The staff is so kind and helpful. My friend was interested in a necklace and the staff showed her that it could be tied off for a different look. She was also very patient while my friend looked through all the gems because they had such a gorgeous assortment of colors that it was hard to choose. The reason I'm giving 5 stars is because of their service. Unfortunately, they ran out of the sticker I wanted. The staff took down my number and called as soon as they had it back in stock. They only order 12-18 of each sticker so if you like it, just get it! I also asked for a little paper bag to hold my purchases and they delivered with a cute tiny bag that's perfect for gifting.”

“We couldn't be happier with Cici 'n Tux as a tenant in our building. Sometimes we go there just to breathe and relax. Arax is old school customer service. Tell her what you need and it will be realized with impeccable attention. It's great to be able to support not only her small business, but in turn all the artists she carries.”

“For years this shop was originally on second street. It was fully supplied with items for the kitchen, dining, and other Japanese items. This shop is much smaller, no room to roam around like the other shop, where you could ogle and awe at wares. The owner of this shop is helpful. They have an adequate selection of ikebana vessels from Japan unlike anywhere else in LA. The prices are average considering import costs. Overall this shop is an important mainstay in the Japanese community.”

“I went earlier today and I loved it. It was so beautiful and everything was so unique. I bought a really cool ring there and I can’t get enough of it. “Such a unique store with unique, fun and interesting merchandise. I'm so happy this mom and pop store has been able to thrive over the years as it truly is a favorite to visit in my town and it's terribly hard to be in business these days. They do such a good job with their Instagram page and promoting their awesome themed art shows and various art events. I love their annual pet show as always come home with portraits of my dog from the artists that attend. I love that you can order online. They helped out a lot during the pandemic. They are always so helpful when you go in too. This last weekend I went in to find some Valentine's Day gifts for family members and sure enough left with some fun goodies. Love shopping along Colorado And Eagle Rock Blvds.”

“One helpful thing about the store use that it was arranged by topic. If the Japanese garden was your main interest, one section was devoted to it. It made finding books on herbs vs art history very easy to find. It was also very well-stocked. The herbal book we purchased, as well as the art book, we're of high quality. The staff were also very kind.”

“I've been here twice and I've walked out a few times with a bunch of figures. I wish I grabbed the Cell figure from there. Other than that, this place is really great and the employees have always been friendly. If you guys want figures for a reasonable and good price, I recommend going to this store.”

“I LOVE this place!! I've never been able to get any Arknights merch even at anime expo. So seeing it here was so awesome. A lot of genshin stuff too if you're into that. I'm an avid cat girl fan and a LOT of the stuff they have here are cat girls so this place was literally heaven.”

“Savor the Flavor in Sierra Madre is a delightful discovery we stumbled upon during the Village Winter fair. This cozy gift store is a treasure trove of unique Christmas gifts, showcasing an enchanting array of distinct plates, captivating books, and delectable snacks.Among the many treasures, the cheese plate gift we found for a friend was a standout choice, displaying the store's commitment to offering thoughtful and distinctive presents. However, what truly captured our attention was the diverse collection of books lining the shelves. From specialized titles like the "gut health recipe book" to engaging children's literature, the store catered to a wide range of interests and preferences. One book that left a lasting impression was Julie Small's "The Battle of Big Worries." This remarkable book ingeniously tackles the topic of managing anxiety through the endearing characters of Polly, a child facing worries, and her trusty companion, a penguin. Small masterfully weaves a tale that not only engages young readers but also provides valuable insights and coping mechanisms for handling anxiety. The heartfelt illustrations beautifully depict Polly's journey, capturing the emotions and challenges she faces alongside her supportive penguin friend. This unique approach helps children relate to and better understand the complexities of managing their worries, making it an invaluable resource for parents seeking to support their child's emotional growth.”

Did I mention that they also sale Reading glasses? Your One Stop Shop. There is no parking so I suggest you park across the street in the parking garage.”

“Lots and lots of gifts to buy at this store. Very decorated and stacked. I came to Chinatown during new years and it's all filled in red! Bought a magnet for $4 in cash and the item was wrapped in a red envelope. Guy at the register was nice and gave me a business card when I asked what the place's name was”

“Such a cute fun store--a real gem in the city of Monrovia! I always find something new every time I come in here. I often need a gift and this is the first place I come. So many beautiful pieces of jewelry, wonderful candles, great table decor. I can always find what I need at Charlie's house. Kristin is kind and thoughtful and will help you find the perfect gift. You can find special gifts here that you can't find anywhere else and the prices are great!”

“This is the best shop in all of Little Tokyo. Super legit, non-touristy at all, and filled with really cool books, prints, antiques and sculptures. The owner is great to talk to and is really passionate about the community. I now have a ton of recommendations for art and cultural events in the neighborhood! The store is cash only, so make sure to come prepared.”

“The store is astonishing, with something new to discover around each corner. The art and crafting are exquisite (and surprisingly affordable), and Erica impressed me with her knowledge, generosity and deep understanding (and explanation) of the spiritual roots of the pieces on display. Thank you so much for giving your time and patience to a poor, adrift Kiwi, and for sharing the treasures of your home with me. No puedo esperar para visitar la ciudad de mexico ahora. Mauruuru koe mo nga mea katoa, e hoa.”

“My kids and I love Simply Fresh. It's truly one of my favorite local stores. It's the sweetest little boutique shop with unique and timeless gifts. They have cards for all occasions, cute party decorations, the most adorable little section for baby clothes, books and stuffed animals, little trinkets for arts and crafts, and an array of feminine gifts from soap bars to aprons to cook books and more. Oh, and the variety of candles are endless. I just love this store. It gives cute English cottage aesthetic, and is always playing the best music - from jazzy rifts to French ballads. I also want to note that the people working here, especially the owner, are very friendly! The layout is small but they've made the most of the space so you may not initially see them or be greeted right away, but for me as a little bit of an introvert, that was absolutely fine!”

“Love this store! This is the only Kawaii store in Boyle Heights. From the window I couldn't tell what treasures were waiting inside but wow! I was so pleasantly surprised to see that they carry a full range of licensed Sanrio products. Come here for my melody/hello kitty plushies and a selection of loungefly bags and wallets. They also carry a really cool selection of toys for kids. 10/10 coming back when I feel like treating myself to something cute!”

“Had an amazing experience shopping at the Cathedral Gift Shop. From the moment they answered the phone, they were very receptive in helping me pick out the best wreath for my apartment. Because I was not able to see the wreaths in person because of COVID restrictions, the lady I spoke with on the phone texted me options of different styles of wreaths with prices. They were all very pretty! I ended up choosing this gold one because it matched best with my furniture. When I told her that I lived on the same street of the Cathedral, the staff was very helpful in accommodating me for a speedy in-store pick-up. I absolutely love my wreath and it's surely putting me in the Advent spirit! God bless all!”
