J & J Hardware Store is a neighborhood gem and a great hardware store. The staff is friendly, helpful, extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and very customer service oriented. They take their time to explain how products work and go above and beyond, even for small purchases. The store maintains a pretty comprehensive and large selection of products, so they invariably have everything customers are looking for. Many find it very convenient, faster, and even cheaper than large chain stores. Customers leave satisfied, knowing they received excellent service and can find what they need for any project.
I went in with a request for a strange screw for my car door, and they spent a lot of time with me individually... only to realize I didn't need it at all. All this for a $.47 piece of hardware. They really went above and beyond.

As a contractor I usually shy away from local hdwr stores, but these guys maintain a pretty comprehensive inventory. Very convenient!Friendly and helpful.
