wanted to charge a hundred dollars for brakepads. the person explained that it was because the material was the same with airplanes. if airplane manufacturers paid that much for material the size of the brake pad the planes would cost over a billion dollars each.

These guys have been working on both of my bikes for 3 years now. They all really know their stuff and do a great job. Highly recommended! (except when I need service, then you have to get behind me in line!)
We are a 20 year old, established retail bicycle sales / service store in San Francisco, specializing in high end repairs, high end mountain bikes and adventure bikes. We also operate an additional location, "The Lodge", 20 miles North of SF in Marin County, near popular biking trails, selling bike accessories, and serving as a mountain bike rental / demo facility, and a cafe geared towards outdoor enthusiasts, serving food and beverages. The location in Marin opened in 2019 after we bought and renovated the 112 year old historic building.
