“I went in tonight about a 1/2 hpur prior to closing with a question about my 30 year old Yakima cargo basket and how to attach it to my 2020 Kia Telluride crossbars. Aaron was extremely helpful in finding a way do accomplish it. He found older parts in a storage area (since the news attachments won’t work) and made sure they fit my crossbars. He was very nice and helpful. It was wonderful experience and amazing customer service. He was thinking outside the box to help. Thank you!”

“Been in here a couple times , always seem to leave with something in hand. They have nice things in the home section and a great variety in there clearance section. When you walk in its a calm quiet feel , you shop and everyone around you seems to be in there own world. A little on the pricey side but they still have there deals, definatly recommend there night slippers, found a pair for $10 cute and comfy.”

“Love the convenience of having a Sephora in the Kohls! The only issue is they don't always have the same products as the rest of the Sephora's, and they don't let you use your Sephora credit card there. You can charge your Kohls credit card though. Thanks to the worker for being so sweet and helpful when I was there the other day! They do offer the same sales as the rest. There's still a great selection of what's offered, hair, makeup, perfumes etc. large parking lot outside, walk in and you'll see it! Please start carrying the DAE hair line!”

“I have never used the Amazon return option that Kohl's offers, but I tried it today because it seemed like the easiest option. All I had to do was bring my items with the original plastic packaging and Kohl's would scan my barcode (which was provided by Amazon once I initiated the return through the app). I walked in and was greeted by Lydia at the front. She noticed I had an Amazon box and she asked if I knew where the drop-off was. I told her that I didn't! She gave me easy directions with a smile and I was on my way. When I got to the back, Annie took my items and said she didn't need the box for the future, but she would take it and break it down for me. So kind! She made the process easy and simple. She gave me a coupon at the end for 15% off of a Kohl's purchase within the next 3 days. And she showed me where the tracking numbers for my Amazon returns were, so I could make sure I get my money back. To top it off, as I was walking away, another lady handed me a 10% off of a Sephora purchase through 4/7. I know it generates business but it was still super thoughtful and unnecessary. Everyone was really helpful and friendly. Will definitely be using this option for Amazon returns in the future. Thanks, Lynda & Annie!”

“Nordstrom Rack is THE ONLY place to go for designer shoes in extended sizes for Women (size 11, 12 and even 13?!). I LOVE their shoe selection! Great prices too! The only problem is that they don't keep shoes in stock. When they're gone, they are gone! They don't have a great selection of plus size clothes in store either. Their website however does. I REALLY like this store. I am a Nordstrom kind of girl. I just wish that they had an Antelope Valley location. The old Bed, Bath, & Beyond store site in Palmdale is vacant. A Nordstrom Rack there would be absolutely perfect!”

“It was nice looking around the store during the evening time on a weekday. The place was quiet enough and the lines were either short or non-existent. After a while, I found what I was looking for, tried it on, and went to the checkout stand close by the women's fitting rooms. I only had to wait for 5 minutes before I was next.I was met with a warm, friendly greeting by an employee I believe was named Diego. They were kind and patient when I asked to sign up for the JCPenney rewards and were able to implement the coupon/savings on my purchases right then and there. Overall, a great experience. “This location has a great selection of items. It was very clean and organized. I asked an employee about an item and they were so nice and helpful. It is a big show with a good variety of different types of items where almost everything is $5 or less. If it is more than $5 it is clearly marked. They have self service check outs which made the process smooth and someone nearby if you need help. There is lots of parking and there were plenty of baskets for shopping. I will definitely come back to this location.”

“Nice name brand clothing, face masks, high quality lotions, purses, men's clothing, kids toys, shoes, candles, furniture and my favorite, snacks! It always nicely stocked and full of people here. It's a fun place to go shopping and zone out. I love that they have Harry and David Carmel gourmet popcorn, sweet onion chips, fancy teas, dried pastas, cookies, truffles. They are always bringing in new items and having sales. Customer service is always pretty nice here too. They have a bathroom inside for Customers, it's not the cleanest but it's nice to have one in store. So come ready with your wallet, walking shoes and hand sanitizer here, be prepared to find a little of everything!”

“Sears has come back from the department store dust! For over 130 years, Sears was one of the leading, if not THE leading chain of department stores back in its heyday. As a kid, I fondly remember seeing a chain of Sears stores and their commercials back in the 1990s. Unfortunately, in today's age of digital and technology use, online e-commerce sites such as Amazon, eBay, Temu, and more have been on the rise of convenient shopping. According to Wikipedia, as of January 2024, there are 13 Sears stores remaining, with 12 in the mainland U.S. and one location in the U.S. territory of Puerto Rico. Although the declining number is staggering, Sears has a legacy of mall culture and launching the movement of ordering from mail catalogs. As a local Burbank resident, I am happy to see that this location is one of the last ones remaining. Don't get me wrong, I occasionally shop online but in the end, I generally prefer going to a physical store to get what I need. The Burbank location has 3 stories, the top floor being the most empty due to renovations. The second floor has women's, children's, and men's clothing and accessories. The bottom floor consists of housewares and kitchen appliances. Surprisingly, there is a large variety of items in store with fairly discounted prices. I really hope that this location and Sears as an entire chain overall will remain in business, despite the continuing rise of other competitors and the convenience of online shopping.”

“I was turned down by a staff member who didn’t want to extend me customer service to just check on an item for me in the back to see if the size was available. Because I wanted to make sure before I left, however while I was at the registered I figured I’d try one more time with the cashier. This cashier was Jasmin was a total sweetheart and she went to the back and gave me 5 star customer services and check and also suggested that I come back tomorrow and double check. She deserves staff member of the month. We need customer service like this!”

“I was at the Macy's iMAC Cosmetics's in Canoga Park. I was looking to find someone to help me with my make up. I have a wedding to attend tomorrow. I saw MAC and I asked this beautiful lady Kaylyn, I approached her and asked if she can help me with doing my make up. I wanted a Smokey eye look since the wedding we're going to is in the evening time. Thankfully she had time to do my make up. Honestly she did such an amazing job with the look I wanted and nailed it. I have an appointment with beautiful Alyssa tomorrow morning at 10:45am and I'm super excited to get a fill make up done on me. They were both so sweet and kind and make sure I felt beautiful. I would highly recommend going to MAC inside Macys. I am a happy customer. I will definitely come back to see them. If you're looking for the best make up.and best artist to make you beautiful. Go to them. You will be satisfied. I literally teared up. Haven't felt beautiful in a long time”

“Costco is Costco - it's the same experience no matter which location you go to. This one is a little spicier since it's in the good ol' hood of Van Nuys! Parking lot is Thunderdome as everyone drives it like they stole it! You better put a pep in your step and keep it moving until you get to the safety of the inside deathmatch! It's free-for-all walking around and there's no mercy in this dojo! It's quite the obstacle course dodging the elderly, the jerkasaurus customers who needlessly create traffic jams by stopping in the most inconvenient spots, kids trying to escape from their parent's clutches, people trying free samples like they've never eaten or drank anything before, spillage in aisles, people using their carts like battering rams, sad sack entitled brats, etc... You never know what you're gonna run into so limber up - remember movement is life! You can buy most everything you need in bulk to hunker down for weeks/months, visit the optometry section so your eyes don't rot and stuff your face with cheap eats from the food court as you contemplate your life's decisions that led you to spend more than you originally anticipated. Costco is where dreams are made or shattered, strength is forged in fire and a hot dog costs $1.50!”

“I’ve bought my fair share of suits over the years from here and I’ve never been disappointed. Going to a family run business is a million times better than a department store. The service, support, and ease wins. The variety might not be as much as a larger store but usually you’ll find something that fits your taste. Always worth taking a look at the least for prospective suit buyers. They also do the alterations themselves so it’s a one stop shop.Sometimes you get lucky and their dogs come to say hi while you are trying on suits too.”

“Miniso's collection has grown. I remember when my daughter liked shopping here because they had some sort of deal with We Bare Bares. Now they have so many characters, including Sanrio. If you're looking for a one stop shop that will have everything you need for a themed gift basket, this is the place to go.”

“Alex really mans this Starbucks location! The Starbucks staff is always amazing and in high spirits! Esperanza, carol, Alex, Linh, violet you guys are all great !! They have a nice variety of Starbucks cups and mugs too. Also, after you shop at target sometimes you get promo gift cards (5-10$) and you can use your target gift cards at the Starbucks!!! It's like free coffee! Love this bang for your buck. So worth it! I love target :) they always have great deals and sales. RICKY IS THE BEST! Helped me with my drive up order and he was so nice and went above and beyond. This target has great staff!”

“TJ Maxx is a love and hate relationship for me. Sometimes I find nice things and sometimes nothing at all. I mostly stop by to check out their home section where I can find plates, bowl, cups etc. this location is convenient and has a lot of parking space. It's next to a Marshall's, Target, Nordstrom Rack and a few other stores. Prices are good but customer service can be better.”

“In general, it is hard to convey how important stores like JC Penney are to a small but populous city like Santa Clarita. I have already extolled the virtues of the Valencia Town Center in other reviews. JC Penney has been an anchor in this mall for over 25 years and I, for one, am grateful that it is still here. The VTC was recently sold and the new owners promise to keep all the good features we appreciate along with adding upgrades and new assets. I hope they can live up to it. This is the hub of public life in this northern corner of Los Angeles and there is nothing like it for at least 40 miles in every direction. I became a fan of JC Penney when it opened in our local New Jersey mall, in Monmouth County where I lived at the time. I was sewing a lot in those days and unlike Bambergers, Bloomingdale's, and B. Altman, JC Penney had a state of the art sewing department that revolutionized hand crafts. Today, I appreciate the moderate to excellent quality of its merchandise. When I need something well made and long lasting, and need it in a hurry, I know I can count on finding an analog of the more prestigious brands at JC Penney. The store is always clean, like most customer service staff in SoCal, the sales team are young, friendly and reasonably helpful. I don't expect white glove treatment, just some efficiency and a smile. I find it here. There are upscale stores I frequent more often, but JC Penney's online and bricks and mortar presence are a comfort, like a well loved slipper or comfy armchair. I hope it stays forever.”
