“A very good military exchange. As with all exchanges being on federal property there is no state tax so if you find an item at the same price as outside you are getting a 7.75% price break but it is important to know what you are buying so that you can compare prices to determine if this is the best price possible. Overall they have a good selection and very helpful Representatives.”

“The pharmacists are extremely kind and helpful. Having had kidney transplant and always not in a great mood they are extremely patient. Also cheaper than CVS! It's worth the ride to La Jolla not to wait in understaffed long lines and having people who know what they're doing.
Another plus is the swiftness of their telephone service!

“Not a Ralph's shopper but make an annual visit for the DMV kiosk in the store. Quick, easy way of paying your car registration renewal and getting the sticker instantly. There is a 1.75 % fee if you use a card but totally worth it if you've waited till the last minute. Kiosk also accepts cash.”

“I highly recommend La Jolla Discount Pharmacy. The owner, David, went out of his way to find a medication prescribed by my fertility doctor that he did not currently have in stock. Including visiting multiple pharmacies to pick it up for me. David spent time reviewing with me how to use the meds and provided his number in case I had any questions, especially after hours. The pharmacy has demonstrated that they care about their patients, and their actions prove it. Don't hesitate to take your business here.”

“CONVENIENT w/ PLENTY OF TRAVEL ITEMS! If you’re visiting Downtown or live close by, this CVS is very helpful! It’s in a centralized location and isn’t too far from the Gaslamp hub and Petco Park. My family and I stopped in to get some quick supplies before a game and we were in-and-out. It’s surprisingly quiet for a CVS in the middle of a busy metropolitan area. I’m cool with it haha. There’s beach wear, snacks, make-up, travel packs, and plenty of alcohol. The pharmacy wasn’t busy at all and it was a Sunday morning! The security guy was kind of disenchanted with his job but he was cool, he let us come in with some coffee we had just purchased nearby. I’d highly recommend this CVS, it’s pretty up to date and put together.”

“Best souvenir shop in Old Town San Diego. Extensive inventory so you can find any souvenir you might be looking for. Been coming here since I was a kid. Employees are nice, knowledgeable and helpful. They also have a restroom which is a plus when you're shopping for a while!”
“Need more oversight in the parking lot for the Reserved Pick Up areas, spots are usually taken by people who shop INSIDE. I've witnessed a few during the times that I was waiting for a pick up order.
Another thing people do is have someone wait in the car while another person runs inside to shop- not really fair for those who actually need to park here for PICKUP ORDERS.”
“I'd always used CVS, but they always have long lines and are generally not that good. Decided to give this place a try on a whim... LOVE IT. They answer phone when you call, know whats going on, never a line. Just a great local place. And they have always had all perceptions available (which id been worried about)”

“Rite aids have been kind of hit for miss for me but THIS location cares. I’ve had a really troublesome year, which has produced some hiccups but both pharmacists are understanding and caring. It feels more like a small family owned pharmacy than a corporate one.
They’ve given me space during all the drastic changes going on in my life, to where I’m very nervous asking for them to be understanding of my situation, especially now when my girlfriend has been diagnosed with stage 4 inoperable glioblastoma. But they pulled through for me.
It’s been very disruptive in my life but, again, I was met with understanding. I do also have the understanding that exceptions cannot just be made constantly but, dare I say, things should be better from now on. We have plans for how to go on from here, and this gives me the capacity to plan better and prioritize my and my girlfriend’s health. I’m meeting with a new provider to help make this MUCH more organized but I am extremely grateful to the pharmacists (and techs) at this rite aid location.
If there is any way to let my pharmacists read this, I’d greatly appreciate it. They need to know how much they are appreciated. They’ve gone above and beyond for me, true compassions has been shown to me and I’ve needed that reassurance of humanity in medicine.”

“Six years now I've had the pleasure of this establishment; I happen to live within walking distance, across the street in fact, maybe a half mile walking away, tops. Yes, many of the shelves are bare or totally empty. Many shelves have Mouthwash for some reason, wherever I look or turn, Mouthwash more and more mouthwash...LOLOLOL. The employees are very nice to me, they always greet me (and everyone that walks through that door) with a hardy welcome. The Pharmacy is another story, a BIG "No speaky the English" Problem here at the pharmacy no less, very very difficult to understand. I think this place is for Vietnamese Customers exclusively. I never get my meds here even though they are directly across the street from me, in addition to not comprehending me when I speak, they, unfortunately, lie to you as well. I come here primarily for Amazon, they have a package pickup spot here and I like their Butter Pecan Ice Cream. Great parking, very clean, nice employees, but the lines always seem to move slowly. I try not to buy anything for this reason; and extremely limited inventory. Price-wise, one can certainly do better and save money at Wmart, Tget, or even CVS has a more complete inventory.”
