“I've used University City Service Center many times for a few years but never wrote a review until today. I've always had good service from them. Last night, during the storm, I had a flat tire. I fixed it with "fix a flat" to get home. This morning (Aug 21) I called the Kia dealer who sold me the tires about a year ago. I asked if I could have the tire repaired and wait for it. They told be the earliest they could do it is August 30!! That's when I called UC Service Center. I was there for about 20 minutes and left with a repaired tire. Thank you University City Service Center.”

“Signed up via text for a free $6 wash. When I pulled up to kiosk a gentleman assisted me and asked if I wanted to use the $6 towards another wash so I used it to get the PLATINUM CERAMIC. I also asked if it would take all the bugs off and he went and made sure he got them off by hand. Great customer service, I greatly appreciated it. “Soapy Joes is a great car wash. The current manager is amazing, super polite and very nice. They employees are very welcoming and provide a great atmosphere. The car wash itself is great as they have great monthly memberships which I highly recommend. Driving a car daily, it’s get dirty pretty fast so it’s convenient to be able to come wash it whenever I feel like it”

Watched young Marines put $100 in their gas tanks on base. Sad with their pay checks. No 'minimum wages' here, as i hear CA is to give $20 an hour to burger flippers next year can't help but question this country's priorities. Better options at bargain stations in town.”

“Excellent low prices in the area since I work at McDonalds very, very close by. Certainly beats going to a different Petrol station called "Royal Oil" as they are about 40cents or more per gallon. So, I am happy going to this Petrol Station!”

I have not seen any homeless person lingering around which I have seen in various other gas stations, good lighting and crowd always. Recently they have started reward point systems and it is very useful, highly recommend.”

“11/7/23 Update - I heard this guy was fired and he also had a criminal record on file. Well that explains it. But I love everyone else here and changing my rating.03/12/23. Around 15:45. The tall Middle Eastern-looking male at the register is a complete jerk. I asked him nicely if the price with credit card same as when you pay with cash - he said yes. I started pumping and then noticed on the pump it says $4.77 not $4.67 like the large sign read. I went back and asked about the discrepancy. He said, "You'll get credit back onto your card if you overpaid." I asked how do I get credit if I was charged more than the cost of the gas? It didn't make sense to me. He said "I don't know, it's been like this all morning. I don't know and I really don't care to be honest. The manager will be here 4pm and you can talk to him." I waited. He then proceeds to re-print my purchase receipt which doesn't say I get credit. I asked him where does it show I get credit? He replies, "It's $.10 more if you pay with a credit card. Do you understand?!!!! That's all I have for you. You want other receipts I could print you all receipts of the store if that makes you happy." Really condescending, rude, and loudmouth. I said, "You could have just told me it's $0.10 more and not lie to me upfront and be such a jerk." To which he replied "Well yes, I'm a jerk, what are you going to do? Get the f out of here or I’ll call the cops on you. I have the right to refuse service to anyone." I said, "I’ll talk to your manager." To which he replied "The manager is not coming, have a nice day. You can come tomorrow!!!" I am a female and he spoke to me like he is a gangster. I don't expect a 5-star service from a gas station, but really simple honest communication upfront could have avoided all of this so unnecessary interaction. Another employee came and this jerk asked me to leave because they’re doing a shift change. I left and waited outside, and another employee came out and issued me $1 refund. I explained to the other gentleman the issue and he said "Yeah, he's being hostile right now, sorry about that." Just treat people with respect and don’t be so hostile. That man scares me the way he comes off with his demeanor, threatening to call cops on people who pose no threat or harm, and creating a hostile environment. Falsely calling the police is a punishable crime, and I could have reported this to the licensing board. I loved coming to this gas station. I don't want to be anywhere near that man, so I will go elsewhere. Thanks again to the other gentleman, he helped diffuse the situation.”

My friend took me to the other day.He said it was a legit factory lamborghini car wash.It was touchless and to my surprise was fantastic.We were prepping our cars for the local car show nearby.Highly recommend it over hand wash for double or triple the price of what this cost”

“I've been going here for about 5 years, and am always satisfied. Tommy is so wonderful to drive up to and support with the best package for the car. I needed a good detail yesterday, and the detail team put so much effort into it. Especially the areas I requested needed a little extra attention. They didn't let me drive off unless satisfied. “My favorite Arco to stop by whether for snacks, car wash and/or gas. They always have a special going on whether it’s a nice cold drink, a surprise from childhood like a corn dog or a cup of coffee to keep you awake on those tired mornings. They of plenty of pumps so they don’t have much of an issue when it comes to cars waiting in line. They do have a high turnover of cars though so don’t plan on having a picnic while sitting next to one of those gas pumps. ? All around terrific staff and wonderful place for a convenience store, car wash and of course gas. ???”

It's now a 76 & ROCKET..No way to pay with cash at the pump- Must go in the office..& these very personable, kind employees rarely have help ..& . They are forced to lock up the little store to take their normal breaks ( which they deserve ).. So you may have to wait...”
