“I wish I had discovered Discount Glass and Mirror earlier. I wasted a bunch of time with two other companies that never got back to me with quotes after I visited their storefronts in person with a template for my coffee table top. By the time I found DGM, it was too late for me to get my tabletop by the time I wanted it.
When I went to Discount Glass and Mirror, the friendly and helpful receptionist got a sales rep out to meet with me right away. She looked at my oval template and let me know my options. I could have my tabletop cut on premises, but it wouldn't have the nice finished edges it would have if the distributor did it. Even though it meant I wouldn't have the glass when I wanted it, I went with the nicer, finished edges. She said she would call me back with a quote either that day (Friday) or on Monday. Unlike the other places I visited, she called me back right away with a quote. The price was reasonable and I told them to go ahead.
They did try to get it to me in time, but it just didn't work out, which was not their fault. They didn't have enough lead time thanks to the other companies that wasted my time. When I picked up the glass, it was exactly what I wanted and looks great on my table.
Although the other two smaller shops weren't interested in my business (but couldn't be bothered to tell me that), the much larger DGM treated my tiny little consumer order like it was just as important as their larger orders from contractors and such. They were easy to work with and very friendly and helpful. I would 100 percent recommend them and I'm happy that next time I need glass I have a reliable place to go.”

In my mind, I contrast them with other warehouses where the staff is typically gruff and rude. The folks at Beacons live by a much higher standard.”

My only recommendation is to tell the young white man who helps in the aisles not to refer to the customers he's helping as "the boy behind me." It comes off as incredibly arrogant and will upset the wrong person if he uses that term.”

“My husband and I were renovating the cement wall in our backyard and we ordered some rebar from this location. My husband and I decided to split up the errands so I went to pick up the rebar as he picked up other items for the renovation. Little did I know, the rebar needed to be tied down. Lou went above and beyond and assisted me load the rebar into my truck and safely tied it down. He worked quickly and professionally. What great customer service. Thanks Lou!”
“These folks were recommended by Lowe's to handle blowing in insulation into my attic. They were supposed to contact me in 2 days and never did. After waiting for 4 days I called them. Kris, the salesman did give us an estimate based on my measurements. We never met him, he was slow to return my calls and emails. Nonetheless we desided to use them. On the agreed upon date they showed up early. Joe and his helper were very good about informing us what they were going to do. They spread plastic on the floors and from the floors to the openings where they were working. That took a couple hours being very careful to avoid blowing insulation into our home. Once that was complete they removed the plastic and made certain everything was vacuumed and wiped down. Joe did excellent work and was very careful with our home. Joe and the Installation team get 5 stars. Kris, salesman 3. Mari the office manager gets 5 stars. In short, I recommend them.”

My husband applied the sealant to the natural bamboo fence as customer service suggested to protect against the humid weather we live in, the result was beautiful. My friends always complement on how great and cozy our outdoor space is now. Our friends have voted our backyard their favorite spot to hangout on BBQ Sundays, it makes them feel they are on vacation, somewhere tropical, away from the busy city. “A 3rd party sells their bamboo blinds on Amazon for around $20-$22's.. in 2 diff colors. They are good quality, I must admit and the price isn't bad. I ended up buying 4 more sets after checking the first 2 out. Very cool.”
