My dog and I have a deal that anytime I pass a dog store- I bring him home some yummy. I got him a few treats, and a new bandanna. The owner was so wonderful. I will have to come back again and next time I'll bring Truman along

The expansive selection and options for dog and cat food can be overwhelming, but just ask anyone working there and you'll get a pretty thorough animal diet education, plus recommendations. It's the only place I shop for my pets.

15 Ross Ave, San AnselmoI am a very overprotective parent. I didn't let my son stay with a babysitter until he could talk, so if anything bad happened he could tell me. My son survived me and is happily living in Chicago. Enter - Cooper. My Papi-poo is my baby now and became one matted mess because I was too scared he might be mistreated at a groomer's to ever take him. Problem, I don't speak Dog. Then I found House of Dog. Lisa and her staff speak fluent Dog and my baby comes home happy and beautifully groomed. Did I mention that I insisted on staying for the entire first appointment? Well, I did, and I not only watched how my baby was treated, I watched how all of your babies were treated as well. They love every single dog they care for, even the one's that are difficult or don't like being groomed. Very patient, very experienced and I recommend them to anyone who cares about their pet.

We followed her to Ross Valley because in addition to excellent medical care, she and the team treat animals and their people with compassion. Additionally, the office is extremely well run. I also appreciate that for recurring medical issues such as allergies, a visit was not required.

625 San Anselmo Ave, San AnselmoThis is one of my 2-3 favorite restaurants. I love lamb and they always get it right! Their other food is always really good too (I’ve tried other family members’ dishes). I would recommend making a reservation, but they are not hard to get a few days ahead, even same-day mid week. Don’t be afraid of the high top tables, they are very comfortable. The view and atmosphere upstairs are really nice.
Kid-friendliness: Great for kids of all ages. Babies included. It’s not a quiet place, so kids that stay seated are just fine.

702 San Anselmo Ave, San AnselmoI just freaking love Flour Craft.
This location was much quieter than their other, which made for quick service! Focaccia here is to die for. We veered from our usual open faced sandwiches this time and got wraps. They were good, but quite small for price. Still, I’m a super fan, and can’t wait to come back and try more.
Tahini brownie was out of this world, and is vegan too!
