“Working in retail is a challenge job. Like many customer service jobs, there is no tips involved whatsoever unlike every restaurant now a days. (Starbucks, Panera bread, etc.) Nonetheless, the Hollister at Salinas Mall is a great place to shop. They provide good customer service and people just need to understand that the associates job isn't easier than anyone else's. Talking to customers all day can take a toll on a person. We all have good and bad days. So far I've had a great experience at Hollister Co. in Salinas & I will continue to shop there. Unlike American Eagle, I never get greeted there.”

“I was desperately in need of a new pair of tennis shoes. I had just tried to buy a pair of shoes at the store across the aisle, which had just the pair I was looking for. But they did not greet me upon entering the store and pretty much ignored my presence. Even though I was standing near the checkers stand with a shoe in my hand, trying to try on my size. With only one other customer in the store and three employees on hand I figured it would be an easy process. But two employees felt it more important to discuss last week's parties. I left very frustrated and decided to step into this store. They greeted me as I walked in and although there were four other customers in there, the two employees were doing their best to attend to everyone. I applaud their tenacity to multi task. Although they did not have the exact shoe I was looking for, they had such a great variety of colors I found something colorful I really liked. Although assisting another customer, the employee quickly looked for a shoe in my size and it fit perfect. I was checked out in a timely manner and was very pleased as a customer. I would for sure go back next time I need shoes.”

“I have an event I'm going to this weekend, which means I need to find something this week and fast. I grabbed a couple outfits and needed to try some things on. The sales clerk saw me walking towards that area. She asked right away if she can help and get me a room. As she opens the door- she told me if I need different sizes or needed any help to let her know. As I'm trying things on, I did need different sizes. I opened the door and waved her over. She came right away with a great attitude. She grabbed me what I needed and stayed close. I opened the door and she was right there to help. I told her I think I needed a different size again. She said she looked at all sizes but can order online for me and make sure it gets here on time for my event in a couple days. She reinsured me if I didn't like it, I could return it. She was really positive and made this process so easy. I asked her name, she said Cat with a big smile. and guess what came in today, just in time for my event. Cat made me feel really comfortable with this purchase, made me feel great with my outfit choice. She was extremely helpful and attentive. I will continue shopping here especially with her in the store. Thank you, CAT!”

I won't go into the exact details, but I was definitely done with Tilly's, the customer service I received WAS RUBBISH AND ONLY GOT WORSE WITH EACH NEW CUSTOMER SERVICE REP I DELAT WITH. “It's truly an incredible store. At home, when I shop this store, I am ignored. But this store is so much nicer to shop at. Team members are really well trained to make customers feel at home. They go above and beyond to assist the customers. When not assisting customers, they are either making displays appear neat and orderly or cleaning the floors and aisles, or restocking tables and racks with new merchandise. I found the patterns on shirts quite intriguing. A great variety of tees. And was surprised to see the shoes and slippers on display. Really a fine store.”

“I had the best experience at a shopping mall! I visited the Macy's in Salinas for the very first time looking for my favorite brand name cosmetics. All of the clerks were extremely attentive even though they appeared to be short handed. I was especially grateful to Willie in the cowboy hat who looked and looked for a Shesiedo product that apparently was discontinued. He gave me a discount coupon because he knew I was disappointed. Macy's has always been a favorite but Macy's at Salinas will stand above the rest in my mind!”

“Just saw the business sign when driving... need to have a saddle part remade... called the phone number I found , called and went by Saturday at 4:09 Staff was very friendly, talked to the owner and craftsmen... said a new one made will be ready next Wednesday... that's fast... with the 4 th of July. As I started for the door I noticed the new western shirts... the young man said if he could be of assistance... great looking shirts and I found 2 I purchased ... The sales person at the register , I think she was the co-owner and wife took my payment and provided two ticket coupon for the Salinas Rodeo in two weeks. They were the best from the moment I walked I to the time I left the were the best and they were all so wonderful... Everyone had a great smile I'll be going back ... they provide great Service”
